The issues on the tips of American tongues tend to be the very issues the mass media instructs them to care about on a weekly basis. The positions they take, and the talking points they use to “discuss” these subjects with one another around the water coolers and dinner tables of the nation, are supplied to each side respectively, by the very same group of media conglomerates.

Fox instructs its viewers to “parrot this,” while CNN instructs its viewers to “parrot that.”

And so the “debate” begins, along these neatly controlled lines, within clearly defined boundaries of “liberal” and “conservative.” It’s very easy, for most people, to figure out which side they’re supposed to be on. After all, the teams are conveniently color-coded.

At the end of the day, moguls on each “side,” from Rupert Murdoch to Jeffrey R. Immelt, get to sit down at the same round tables and have a good laugh at our expense, as they plot their next con with their globalist buddies.

And such is the nature of US political discussion.

So, not surprisingly, a lot of people have taken to talking about Iran lately. If you happen to overhear something dangerously ignorant fall out of the mouth of one of your friends, family or co-workers, we implore you, don’t let it go. Correct them.

Disinformation and ignorance gives way to chaos and war. You can never know how many lives you might save by setting someone straight. We know it can feel like an uphill battle at times, like you are some modern-day Sysyphus and this is your hell… constantly repeating yourself and getting nowhere. But we assure you that this work is necessary and important. Don’t give up.

Here are 7 points about Iran that all Americans need to understand, now. Keep these up your sleeve or in your quiver, and use them freely.

1. Iran can’t enrich uranium to 95%. That means Iran cannot produce weapons grade materials. This has not changed. The UN has stated that Iran suspended all nuclear weapons programs in 2003, and has never found any evidence to the contrary. Since then, Iran has only been cooperating with the IAEA, despite much loud rhetoric from all of our media outlets that the Iranian leadership is some kind of a ‘doomsday regime hell-bent on genocide.’

2. When Iran announced the existence of the new facility that the media is now peeing its collective pants about, Iran was simply complying with the IAEA agreements, like it always does. Iran is required to report any new facility 6 months prior to bringing any nuclear materials there. This, it did. Furthermore, US intelligence and the White House knew about this facility “for several years,” yet now they want to act like they just “caught” Iran doing something secret. This means that the White House statement was carefully timed, for maximum political effect.

3. Iran cannot, I repeat, cannot attack the US on her own soil. Iran has no aircraft carriers, no ICBMS, no orbital super-lasers, no bases in Canada or Mexico, or anything else that would suggest the contrary. Iran can, however, defend herself, if we are stupid enough to park our navy off her coast, or send our troops across her borders.

4. Even if Iran were attempting to gain access to nuclear weapons, it has every right to do so. In case you’ve forgotten, they have an enemy in the region, a religious fundamentalist regime that has stated many times that it wishes to attack Iran. This regime already has access to hundreds of nuclear warheads and sophisticated delivery systems.

5. The latest missile tests Iran conducted were of the Shahab 3 missile, which has no guidance system and a range of about 2000 Km. If that’s the best they have, they are years or decades away from being a threat to anyone except a random patch of desert within 2000 Km of their launch site. Sure, they could always point it at Israel and cross their fingers… but even with weapons grade nuclear materials, they’d still only be inviting their own destruction, as either the US or Israel could hit Ahmadinejad’s house from anywhere on the planet.

6. Western intelligence and even mainstream geopolitical and foreign policy analysts agree that it is in Iran’s best interest to work with the US to stabilize and secure the nations of Iraq and Afghanistan, which lie on opposite sides of Iran. Yet for some reason, US foreign policy will not allow this cooperation to take place.

7. *** MOST IMPORTANTLY *** Iran just recently decided to stop trading oil in Dollars, opting to use the Euro instead. Now, ask yourself, what previous war… started about 6 years ago… was preceded by a similar economic development?

And when they go on about “how could you support such an evil country? Their elections are rigged, and don’t you know what they do to gay people?” (And they will, since these are 2 points on which the mass media has thoroughly harped). Here’s what you say:

I’m not saying the Iranian government isn’t total corrupt scum. It is. But so is Israel’s. And if you think this hawkishness is in the best interests of the US, or if you think it’s a good idea to continue to destabilize the region when we already have problems in Iraq and Afghanistan, and if you think it’s going to be fun to wage war against Iran, maybe you should go first.

The people who want this are globalists. This means they profit off of war, destabilization, and geopolitical manipulation. They sit outside of countries and play them off of one another, to their own advantage. What hurts Americans, Iranians and Israelis is good for them, because it pays their bills and justifies more seizure of power, more military intervention, and most of all, more global authority.

Great article. Just as in the case of Iraq, I too am convinced that the US would war with Iran over the Euro dollar oil trading more than anything else.

In the USA ‘book of rules’, defending the US Dollar endorses acts of war.

The initial reason for USA war with Iraq would probably have been Israel’s lobbying, as Iran has been on USa’s hitlist together with Iraq and Afghanistan years before those invasions.

An invasion of Iran would leave only Syria on that original hitlist, although I would not be surprised if Venezuala is also targetted now that it also likes trading oil for Euros. We see a massive USA military build up near its border and USA drones already invading. This act has already strengthened the resolve of South American nations to stand up against the USA.

The Euro, it seems, has been a useful tool for the dismantling of the USA dollar as a prime world currency. I cannot blame any oil nation for wanting to drop the USD, and let’s face it, the USA has not exactly endeared itself to any of these nations. This is probably the USA’s biggest problem… losing friends everywhere.
