There was a time, not too long ago (relatively speaking), that governments and the groups of elites that controlled them did not find it necessary to conscript themselves into wars of disinformation. Propaganda was relatively straightforward. The lies were much simpler. The control of information flow was easily directed. In fact, during the early Middle-Ages in most European countries commoners were not even allowed to own a Bible, nor was the Bible allowed to be interpreted from Latin to another language, let alone any other tome that might breed “dangerous ideas”. This was due in large part to the established feudal system and its hierarchy of royals and clergy. Rules were enforced with the threat of property confiscation and execution for anyone who strayed from the rigid socio-political structure. Those who had theological, metaphysical, or scientific information outside of the conventional and scripted collective world view were tortured and slaughtered. The elites kept the information to themselves, and removed its remnants from mainstream recognition, sometimes for centuries before it was rediscovered.

With the advent of anti-feudalism, and most importantly the success of the American Revolution, elites were no longer able to dominate information with the edge of a blade or the barrel of a gun. The establishment of Democracies (and Democratic Republics), with their philosophy of open government and rule by the people, compelled Aristocratic minorities to plot more subtle ways of obstructing the truth and thus maintaining their hold over the world without exposing themselves to retribution from the masses. Thus, the complex art of disinformation was born. The technique, the “magic” of the lie, was refined and perfected. The mechanics of the human mind and the human soul became an endless obsession for the elites.

The goal was malicious, but socially radical; instead of expending the impossible energy needed to dictate the very form and existence of the truth, they would allow it to drift, obscured in a fog of contrived data. They would wrap the truth in a “Gordian Knot” of misdirections and fabrications so elaborate that they felt certain the majority of people would surrender, giving up long before they ever finished unraveling the deceit. The goal was not to destroy the truth, but to hide it in plain sight.

In modern times, and with carefully engineered methods, this goal has for the most part been accomplished. However, these methods also have inherent weaknesses. Lies are fragile. They require constant attentiveness to keep them alive. The exposure of a single truth can rip through an ocean of lies, evaporating it instantly. In this article, we will examine the methods used to fertilize and promote the growth of disinformation, as well as how to identify the roots of disinformation and effectively cut them, starving out the entire system of fallacies once and for all.

Media Disinformation Methods

The mainstream media, once tasked with the job of investigating government corruption and keeping elitists in line, has now become nothing more than a PR firm for corrupt officials and their Globalist handlers. The days of the legitimate “investigative reporter” are long gone, and journalism itself has deteriorated into a rancid pool of so called “TV Editorialists” who treat their own baseless opinions as supported fact.

The elitist co-opting of news has been going on in one form or another since the invention of the printing press, however, the first methods of media disinformation truly came to fruition under the supervision of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, who believed the truth was “subjective” and open to his personal interpretation. Hearst’s legacy of lies and sensationalism lives on in the Hearst published magazine ‘Popular Mechanics’, who accuse the growing 9/11 Truth Movement of outrageous “conspiracy theory” while at the same time consistently publishing articles about UFO sightings and secret government flying saucer programs.

As we will show, this strange juxtaposition of mixed signals and hypocritical accusations is characteristic of all purveyors of disinformation.

Some of the main tactics used by the mainstream media to mislead the masses are as follows:

Lie Big, Retract Quietly

Mainstream media sources (especially newspapers) are notorious for reporting flagrantly dishonest and unsupported news stories on the front page, then quietly retracting those stories on the very back page when they are caught. In this case, the point is to railroad the lie into the collective consciousness. Once the lie is finally exposed, it is already too late, and a large portion of the population will not notice or care when the truth comes out. A good example of this would be the collusion of the MSM with the Bush administration to convince the American public after 9/11 that Iraq had WMDs, even though no concrete evidence existed to prove it. George W. Bush’s eventual admission that there had never been any WMDs in Iraq (except chemical weapons which the U.S. actually sold to Saddam under the Reagan / Bush administration) was lightly reported or glazed over by most mainstream news sources. The core reason behind a war that has now killed over a million people was proven to be completely fraudulent, yet I still run into people today who believe that Iraq had nukes…

Unconfirmed Or Controlled Sources As Fact

Cable news venues often cite information from “unnamed” sources, government sources that have an obvious bias or agenda, or “expert” sources without providing an alternative “expert” view. The information provided by these sources is usually backed by nothing more than blind faith. A recent example of this would be the Osama Bin Laden audio tapes which supposedly reveal that the Christmas “Underwear Bomber” was indeed Al-Qaeda:

http://abcnews.go.com/WN/osama-bin-laden-addresses-president-obama-audio-tape/story?id=9650267

The media treats the audio tape as undeniable fact in numerous stories, then at the same time prints a side story which shows that the White House cannot confirm that the tape is even real:

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE60N16I20100124

If the White House cannot confirm the authenticity of the tape, then why did the media report on its contents as if it had been confirmed?

Calculated Omission

Otherwise known as “cherry picking” data. One simple piece of information or root item of truth can derail an entire disinfo news story, so instead of trying to gloss over it, they simply pretend as if it doesn’t exist. When the fact is omitted, the lie can appear entirely rational. This tactic is also used extensively when disinformation agents and crooked journalists engage in open debate.

Distraction, and the Manufacture of Relevance

Sometimes the truth wells up into the public awareness regardless of what the media does to bury it. When this occurs their only recourse is to attempt to change the public’s focus and thereby distract them from the truth they were so close to grasping. The media accomplishes this by “over-reporting” on a subject that has nothing to do with the more important issues at hand. Ironically, the media can take an unimportant story, and by reporting on it ad nauseum, cause many Americans to assume that because the media won’t shut-up about it, it must be important! An example of this would be the recent push for an audit of the Federal Reserve which was gaining major public support, as well as political support. Instead of reporting on this incredible and unprecedented movement for transparency in the Fed, the MSM spent two months or more reporting non-stop on the death of Michael Jackson, a pop idol who had not released a decent record since “Thriller,” practically deifying the man who only months earlier was being lambasted by the same MSM for having “wandering hands” when children were about.

Dishonest Debate Tactics

Sometimes, men who actually are concerned with the average American’s pursuit of honesty and legitimate fact-driven information break through and appear on T.V. However, rarely are they allowed to share their views or insights without having to fight through a wall of carefully crafted deceit and propaganda. Because the media knows they will lose credibility if they do not allow guests with opposing viewpoints every once in a while, they set up and choreograph specialized T.V. debates in highly restrictive environments which put the guest on the defensive, and make it difficult for them to clearly convey their ideas or facts.

TV pundits are often trained in what are commonly called “Alinsky Tactics.” Saul Alinsky was a moral relativist, and champion of the lie as a tool for the “greater good;” essentially, a modern day Machiavelli. His “Rules for Radicals” were supposedly meant for grassroots activists who opposed the establishment, and emphasized the use of any means necessary to defeat one’s political opposition. But is it truly possible to defeat an establishment built on lies, by use of even more elaborate lies, and by sacrificing one’s ethics?

Today, Alinsky’s rules are used more often by the establishment than by its opposition. These tactics have been adopted by governments and disinformation specialists across the world, but they are most visible in TV debate. While Alinsky sermonized about the need for confrontation in society, his debate tactics are actually designed to circumvent real and honest confrontation of opposing ideas with slippery tricks and diversions. Alinsky’s tactics, and their modern usage, can be summarized as follows:

1) Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.

We see this tactic in many forms. For example, projecting your own movement as mainstream, and your opponent’s as fringe. Convincing your opponent that his fight is a futile one. Your opposition may act differently, or even hesitate to act at all, based on their perception of your power.

2) Never go outside the experience of your people, and whenever possible, go outside of the experience of the enemy.

Don’t get drawn into a debate about a subject you do not know as well as or better than your opposition. If possible, draw them into such a situation instead. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty in your opposition. This is commonly used against unwitting interviewees on cable news shows whose positions are set up to be skewered. The target is blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address. In television and radio, this also serves to waste broadcast time to prevent the target from expressing his own positions.

3) Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.

The objective is to target the opponent’s credibility and reputation by accusations of hypocrisy. If the tactician can catch his opponent in even the smallest misstep, it creates an opening for further attacks.

4) Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.

“Ron Paul is a crackpot.” “Dennis Kucinich is short and weird.” “9-11 twoofers wear tinfoil hats.” Ridicule is almost impossible to counter. It’s irrational. It infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage. It also works as a pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

5) A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.

The popularization of the term “Teabaggers” is a classic example, it caught on by itself because people seem to think it’s clever, and enjoy saying it. Keeping your talking points simple and fun keeps your side motivated, and helps your tactics spread autonomously, without instruction or encouragement.

6) A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.

See rule number 6. Don’t become old news. If you keep your tactics fresh, its easier to keep your people active. Not all disinformation agents are paid. The “useful idiots” have to be motivated by other means. Mainstream disinformation often changes gear from one method to the next and then back again.

7) Keep the pressure on with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.

Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. Never give the target a chance to rest, regroup, recover or re-strategize. Take advantage of current events and twist their implications to support your position. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

8) The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

This goes hand in hand with Rule #1. Perception is reality. Allow your opposition to expend all of its energy in expectation of an insurmountable scenario. The dire possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.

9) The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

The objective of this pressure is to force the opposition to react and make the mistakes that are necessary for the ultimate success of the campaign.

10) If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside.

As grassroots activism tools, Alinsky tactics have historically been used (for example, by labor movements) to force the opposition to react with violence against activists, which leads to popular sympathy for the activists’ cause. Today, false (or co-opted) grassroots movements use this technique in debate as well as in planned street actions. The idea is to provoke (or stage) ruthless attacks against ones’ self, so as to be perceived as the underdog, or the victim. Today, this technique is commonly used to create the illusion that a certain movement is “counterculture” or “anti-establishment.”

11) The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem. Today, this is often used offensively against legitimate activists, such as the opponents of the Federal Reserve. Complain that your opponent is merely “pointing out the problems.” Demand that they offer a solution.

12) Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. The targets supporters will expose themselves. Go after individual people, not organizations or institutions. People hurt faster than institutions.

The next time you view an MSM debate, watch the pundits carefully, you will likely see many if not all of the strategies above used on some unsuspecting individual attempting to tell the truth.

Internet Disinformation Methods

Because the MSM’s bag of tricks has been so exhausted over such a long period of time, many bitter and enraged consumers of information are now turning to alternative news sources, most of which exist on the collective commons we call the internet. At first, it appears, the government and elitists ignored the web as a kind of novelty, or just another mechanism they could exploit in spreading disinformation. As we all now well know, they dropped the ball, and the internet has become the most powerful tool for truth history has ever seen.

That being said, they are now expending incredible resources in order to catch up to their mistake, utilizing every trick in their arsenal to beat web users back into submission. While the anonymity of the internet allows for a certain immunity against many of Saul Alinsky’s manipulative tactics, it also allows governments to attack those trying to spread the truth covertly. In the world of web news, we call these people “disinfo trolls.” Trolls are now being openly employed by governments in countries like the U.S. and Israel specifically to scour the internet for alternative news sites and disrupt their ability to share information.

http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Raw_obtains_CENTCOM_email_to_bloggers_1016.html

http://www.thenational.ae/article/20090104/FOREIGN/882042198/1002

http://www.atlanticfreepress.com/news/1/10793-twitterers-paid-to-spread-israeli-propaganda-internet-warfare-team-unveiled.html

Internet trolls, also known as “paid posters” or “paid bloggers,” are increasingly being employed by private corporations as well, often for marketing purposes. In fact, it is a rapidly growing industry.

Trolls use a wide variety of strategies, some of which are unique to the internet, here are just a few:

1) Make outrageous comments designed to distract or frustrate: An Alinsky tactic used to make people emotional, although less effective because of the impersonal nature of the web.

2) Pose as a supporter of the truth, then make comments that discredit the movement: We have seen this even on our own forums — trolls pose as supporters of the Liberty Movement, then post long, incoherent diatribes so as to appear either racist or insane. Here is a live example of this tactic in use on Yahoo! Answers.

The key to this tactic is to make references to common Liberty Movement arguments while at the same time babbling nonsense, so as to make those otherwise valid arguments seem ludicrous by association.

In extreme cases, these “Trojan Horse Trolls” have been known to make posts which incite violence — a technique obviously intended to solidify the false assertions of the notorious MIAC report and other ADL/SPLC publications which purport that constitutionalists should be feared as potential domestic terrorists.

3) Dominate Discussions: Trolls often interject themselves into productive web discussions in order to throw them off course and frustrate the people involved.

4) Prewritten Responses: Many trolls are supplied with a list or database with pre-planned talking points designed as generalized and deceptive responses to honest arguments. 9/11 “debunker” trolls are notorious for this.

5) False Association: This works hand in hand with item #2, by invoking the stereotypes established by the “Trojan Horse Troll.”

For example: calling those against the Federal Reserve “conspiracy theorists” or “lunatics”. Deliberately associating anti-globalist movements with big foot or alien enthusiasts, because of the inherent negative connotations. Using false associations to provoke biases and dissuade people from examining the evidence objectively.

6) False Moderation: Pretending to be the “voice of reason” in an argument with obvious and defined sides in an attempt to move people away from what is clearly true into a “grey area” where the truth becomes “relative.”

7) Straw Man Arguments: A very common technique. The troll will accuse his opposition of subscribing to a certain point of view, even if he does not, and then attacks that point of view. Or, the troll will put words in the mouth of his opposition, and then rebut those specific words. For example: “9/11 truthers say that no planes hit the WTC towers, and that it was all just computer animation. What are they, crazy?”

Sometimes, these strategies are used by average people with serious personality issues. However, if you see someone using these tactics often, or using many of them at the same time, you may be dealing with a paid internet troll.

Government Disinformation Methods

Governments, and the globalists who back them, have immense assets — an almost endless fiat money printing press — and control over most legal and academic institutions. With these advantages, disinformation can be executed on a massive scale. Here are just a handful of the most prominent tactics used by government agencies and private think tanks to guide public opinion, and establish the appearance of consensus:

1) Control The Experts: Most Americans are taught from kindergarten to ignore their instincts for the truth and defer to the “professional class” for all their answers. The problem is that much of the professional class is indoctrinated throughout their college years, many of them molded to support the status quo. Any experts that go against the grain are ostracized by their peers.

2) Control The Data: By controlling the source data of any investigation, be it legal or scientific, the government has the ability to engineer any truth they wish, that is, as long as the people do not care enough to ask for the source data. Two major examples of controlled and hidden source data include; the NIST investigation of the suspicious 9/11 WTC collapses, in which NIST engineers, hired by the government, have kept all source data from their computer models secret, while claiming that the computer models prove the collapses were “natural”. Also, the recent exposure of the CRU Climate Labs and their manipulation of source data in order to fool the public into believing that Global Warming is real, and accepting a world-wide carbon tax. The CRU has refused to release the source data from its experiments for years, and now we know why.

3) Skew The Statistics: This tactic is extremely evident in the Labor Department’s evaluations on unemployment, using such tricks as incorporating ambiguous birth / death ratios into their calculation in order to make it appear as though there are less unemployed people than there really are, or leaving out certain subsections of the population, like those who are unemployed and no longer seeking benefits.

3) Guilt By False Association: Governments faced with an effective opponent will always attempt to demonize that person or group in the eyes of the public. This is often done by associating them with a group or idea that the public already hates. Example: During the last election, they tried to associate Ron Paul supporters with racist groups (and more recently, certain Fox News anchors) in order to deter moderate Democrats from taking an honest look at Congressman Paul’s policies.

4) Manufacture Good News: This falls in with the skewing of statistics, and it also relies heavily on Media cooperation. The economic “Green Shoots” concept is a good example of the combination of government and corporate media interests in order to create an atmosphere of false optimism based on dubious foundations.

5) Controlled Opposition: Men in positions of power have known for centuries the importance of controlled opposition. If a movement rises in opposition to one’s authority, one must usurp that movement’s leadership. If no such movement exists to infiltrate, the establishment will often create a toothless one, in order to fill that social need, and neutralize individuals who might have otherwise taken action themselves.

During the 1960’s and 70’s, the FBI began a secretive program called COINTELPRO. Along with illegal spying on American citizens who were against the Vietnam conflict or in support of the civil rights movement, they also used agents and media sources to pose as supporters of the movement, then purposely created conflict and division, or took control of the direction of the movement altogether. This same tactic has been attempted with the modern Liberty Movement on several levels, but has so far been ineffective in stopping our growth.

The NRA is another good example of controlled opposition, as many gun owners are satisfied that paying their annual NRA dues is tantamount to actively resisting anti-gun legislation; when in fact, the NRA is directly responsible for many of the compromises which result in lost ground on 2nd amendment issues. In this way, gun owners are not only rendered inactive, but actually manipulated into funding the demise of their own cause.

6) False Paradigms: Human beings have a tendency to categorize and label other people and ideas. It is, for better or worse, a fundamental part of how we understand the complexities of the world. This component of human nature, like most any other, can be abused as a powerful tool for social manipulation. By framing a polarized debate according to artificial boundaries, and establishing the two poles of that debate, social engineers can eliminate the perceived possibility of a third alternative. The mainstream media apparatus is the key weapon to this end. The endless creation of dichotomies, and the neat arrangement of ideologies along left/right lines, offers average people a very simple (though hopelessly inaccurate) way of thinking about politics. It forces them to choose a side, usually based solely on emotional or cultural reasons, and often lures them into supporting positions they would otherwise disagree with. It fosters an environment in which beating the other team is more important than ensuring the integrity of your own. Perhaps most importantly, it allows the social engineer to determine what is “fair game” for debate, and what is not.

Alinsky himself wrote: “One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other.”

One merely needs to observe a heated debate between a Democrat and a Republican to see how deeply this belief has been ingrained on both sides, and how destructive it is to true intellectual discourse.

Stopping Disinformation

The best way to disarm disinformation agents is to know their methods inside and out. This gives us the ability to point out exactly what they are doing in detail the moment they try to do it. Immediately exposing a disinformation tactic as it is being used is highly destructive to the person utilizing it. It makes them look foolish, dishonest, and weak for even making the attempt. Internet trolls most especially do not know how to handle their methods being deconstructed right in front of their eyes, and usually fold and run from debate when it occurs.

The truth, is precious. It is sad that there are so many in our society that have lost respect for it; people who have traded in their conscience and their soul for temporary financial comfort while sacrificing the stability and balance of the rest of the country in the process. The human psyche breathes on the air of truth, without it, humanity cannot survive. Without it, the species will collapse in on itself, starving from lack of intellectual and emotional sustenance. Disinformation does not only threaten our insight into the workings of our world; it makes us vulnerable to fear, misunderstanding, and doubt, all things that lead to destruction. It can lead good people to commit terrible atrocities against others, or even against themselves. Without a concerted and organized effort to diffuse mass-produced lies, the future will look bleak indeed.

A large part of our society operates on a disturbing assumption, a belief that has been driven into the very fabric of our culture for generations; the assumption that preparation for disaster is unnecessary because all will remain the same as it always has been.

This collective assumption exists in very few countries. South America, Africa, most of Asia, and even parts of Europe experience and even anticipate upheaval and catastrophe from time to time, not only in respect to mother nature (as recently occurred in Haiti), but also in terms of economics and social unrest. Many Americans have attempted not only to insulate themselves from such events, but to also insulate themselves from the very idea that such events could ever happen to them. The concept of hyperinflation, loss of utilities, loss of police protections, loss of infrastructure, loss of grocery outlets, is so outside their pre-programmed world view that to dare discuss these subjects is seen as “absurd” and “alien.”

While many Haitians would see the act of survival preparation as entirely practical (for numerous reasons), many Americans would become incredulous, jeering, as if they are above and beyond such concerns. This must change, and it must change quickly.

Over the past few years, there has been a strong broad based and growing movement that opposes such presumptive thinking, and has opted towards independence and self reliance. They are often called “survivalists,” usually lumped in with “conspiracy theorists,” in a derogatory fashion as if the term is disparaging. But what many of us have come to realize is that what the mainstream considers “rational” is usually anything but, and what they call “common sense” sometimes borders on the insane, for only a madman would label the logical act of preparation as “crazy,” especially in the face of so much economic uncertainty.

In this article we will discuss how to prepare for a wide-spectrum financial breakdown, as well as why it is absolutely necessary, not just to ensure ones own survival and ones own future, but the future of an ideal, and a way of life.

Survival Strategies

The fact is, there are as many strategies for survival as there are survivalists, although some survival “gurus” insist that their way is the ONLY way (I know, because I have dealt with them in the past). Keep in mind that there are very few set rules for survival that apply to everyone. Your personal survival strategy will depend on your unique circumstances and environment, and a true survival expert will recognize this immediately. Beware of anyone who claims they have the only solution, or who overtly boasts of their many survival skills and background qualifications. From my experience, real survivalists tend to be rather reserved and humble people with no interest in showboating their knowledge.

In this article, we will endeavor to give broad guidelines which can then be tailored to your specific circumstances. Our recommendations will not necessarily work for everyone.

When devising a survival strategy, we must take into account our surroundings and our supply options, but first, we must make an important decision; will we stay where we are, or will we have a “retreat” in a different location. This decision will greatly effect how you prepare for disaster. Let’s explore theses two options carefully…

Staying On The Home-Front:

In order to stay at home, we should consider our circumstances.

Do you own your home, or do you rent? If you rent, then you may have little control over your property and what happens on it, which means you may want to consider the retreat option instead.

Is your home in the midst of a large population center? If it is, then there may be considerable danger in the event of an economic collapse. Urban survival is definitely possible, but follows different guidelines and involves dangers not covered in most survival manuals. If you are not confident in your ability to stay safe in a populous area, you may want to use a retreat away from the city.

Is your home highly visible to others, or is it set in dangerous terrain? If your terrain makes you vulnerable, or your home sits on the very top of a hill for everyone to see, then you may want to consider a separate retreat.

If your home does not suffer from any of these setbacks, then you will have many advantages in staying put. First, because it is where you have probably lived for quite some time, you will know your surroundings inside and out. It is much easier to protect yourself from unwanted intruders if you have intimate knowledge of the terrain, and familiarity breeds confidence, which is incredibly important for survival. It is also much easier to stockpile goods, rig an alternative power source, and fortify your building as well as your land over time.

Another advantage to staying at home is that if you have been doing your job correctly and informing your friends and trusted neighbors of the collapse, then you will have allies and with them safety in numbers. Not to mention, the ability to combine resources with those who have also been preparing.

Planning For Retreat:

A retreat is a place away from your home environment that provides greater security and less visibility, or greater resources such as edible plant life, animal life, and water. A retreat could be almost anywhere; a forest cabin, an old tunnel structure, a carefully hidden RV, or simply a mountain range you hike every summer. Sometimes the best places are right under our noses. Abandoned farmland for instance would make an excellent retreat because it has already been tilled, planted at one time (which often produces random plant food sources long after the land is abandoned), and is normally surrounded with game. The most important consideration is that you choose the location far in advance of collapse and plan accordingly.

The disadvantages of a retreat include; a possible lack of terrain familiarity, the inability to fortify the area over time because of its remoteness, the inability to store ample goods on site for fear of theft (you would be required to bring most of your survival goods with you at the time of collapse), and the fact that you will have to get to the location without incident.

All of these problems can be overcome with good planning and a little foresight.

Survival Food And Gear

Again, the supplies we choose to stock will greatly depend on which path we have decided on; Home Front, or Retreat.

Staying at home gives you the advantage of larger stock, heavier equipment, and more permanent utility solutions. Here are some recommendations for food and gear that lend themselves to the Home Front option.

Home Front Foods

When staying at home, one does not have to worry so much about the weight and volume of goods stored, so bulk food items are an excellent option. When making food purchases, always take into account nutritional value and calorie levels. Although we have been taught that high calorie and fat intake are “bad,” in a survival situation, storable foods with high calories are actually good! Fats most especially will be at a premium, and are required by your body to function properly. Also keep in mind that most wild game tends to be lean, and low in fat, so do not count on hunting alone to provide what you need.

A good rule of thumb for calorie intake is the same rule used by athletes when losing or maintaining weight; check your weight then multiply it by ten. If you weigh 200 pounds, this means you will need at least 2000 calories just for your body to remain healthy in an inactive state. If constantly active (which is likely) you will need more than 2000 calories to remain in good health. Never scoff at calorie counting, it may save your life. For home storage I would recommend at minimum a one year supply of food. Stocking more, especially for trade, would be preferable.

Here are just a few great food items that can help to fill your calorie and nutritional requirements.

Canned Goods, Jarred Goods: Canned goods are a given for the Home Front strategy, but rotation is necessary, and storing for more than two years is not a good idea.

Hard Red Wheat: Hard red wheat if dried properly can be stored for up to 30 years. It can be boiled and eaten, or if you have a grain mill, ground up and used to make bread products. Great source of calories and nutrition.

Rice: Easily stored, and a little goes a long way.

Beans: Takes a long time to cook, but when combined with rice, they provide a full protein in the advent that meat is not available.

Nuts, Trail Mix: Almonds, Walnuts, Peanuts etc., provide a high amount of fats and are also very good for you.

Honey: Honey is an incredible food source. Sugars are extremely important in one’s diet and honey has ample amounts, as well as being far easier to store than normal table sugar, because unlike table sugar, honey kills bacteria.

Non-Instant Powdered Milk: Good source of fat, calcium, and amino acids. I am told non-instant tastes better than instant.

Salt: Your body must have salt, period.

Spices, Soup Bases: Spices are comfort food, but in a survival situation, we all might need a little comfort. Also, spices help make some wild game more palatable.

Water: Having your own land opens the possibility of a well, using your roof and gutters as a water collection tool, and with a little investment even a personal pond or lake. Filtration is the key. Stocking up on pumps that filter out bacteria would be essential. Boiling water also works, but remember, it doesn’t remove silt and heavy metals, and it can waste fuel.

The above foods when stored properly will provide you with the basic nutrition your body needs. They can then be supplemented with a garden, wild edible plants, and game.

Home Front Gear

Staying at home opens up many options as far as gear is concerned. Here are some ideas that Home Front people can use to their advantage:

Electricity: Men often romanticize about roughing it in the wilds or returning to a state of primal caveman-ness, but really, life without electricity is very difficult, especially if you have a family, and it removes many advantages from your survival playbook. Go to Africa and see if the people there without simple electric lighting romanticize their situation. Many items that give you an edge in survival require electricity, the most important being refrigeration. Gas generators can help, but are limited by the amount of gasoline you can acquire. Large quantities of gas are also difficult to store. For those staying home, I highly recommend setting up a solar power system. They are not as expensive as you might imagine, once set up the energy is free and never runs out, and you will be completely independent from the grid, making you free from the effects of power outages.

If you live in the plains or in high wind areas, windmill power is also available at reasonable prices for the homeowner.

Water Generators: With solar power comes limitless energy. Add an atmospheric water generator like those produced by Ecolo Blue, and you now have unlimited clean water:

This may be initially more expensive, but over the long run you will be so far ahead of the game you will wonder why you ever agonized over spending your fiat paper money.

Surveillance Cameras: While we generally think of these as being globalist tools of control, they can be put to an honorable purpose on the Home Front. Having solar and wind power gives you the option of security perimeters, alarms, even cameras which can alert you to intrusion. This may seem a bit “over the top” to some, but only because they are thinking in terms of the way the world is now. Think in terms of how the world will probably be after a severe economic downturn. Study other countries in history who suffered similar fates, including the Weimar Republic, Argentina, Zimbabwe, etc. People often had to take their safety into their own hands in the face of a completely chaotic social landscape. Every opportunity for advantage (within the bounds of conscience) should be taken.

Lumber, Construction Tools: The kinds of things you would never be able to carry with you to a retreat are readily available to those staying at home as long as you plan ahead of time. Good fresh lumber may be difficult to find unless one wants to take the risk of scavenging away from his property. Having a supply set aside could help in buttressing walls, building barricades, repairing fencing, animal pens, animal traps, making items for trade etc. The need for sturdy tools is self explanatory.

Now that we’ve discussed the particular benefits of staying at home, we will go over the retreat scenario and its particular quirks…

Retreat Foods

The retreat situation requires a very strong sense of efficiency and the ability to discern the necessary from the less necessary. Weight and versatility of goods will be extremely important, especially if your retreat is a piece of land without any preexisting structures. You will have to think carefully on what you can carry and what you can load into your vehicle. The allure of the retreat strategy is the option of mobility. You will not be tied down to one place, and thus you will not be betting the entire game on a single hand. You can even have several backup retreat locations staked out in the event that you must pick up and leave one. However, in order to do this, you must maintain agility and speed.

Food is heavy, and six month’s to a year’s worth of food is very heavy. So, how do you cope? There are several methods…

Freeze Dried Foods: Freeze dried foods are an excellent alternative in a number of ways. They are very light, and only require boiling water to prepare. They usually have ample salts, fats, sugars, and proteins, and the packages contain calorie data, which means you won’t have to spend as much time keeping track of nutrition essentials. I highly recommend a large stock of these meals if you plan to be on the move.

Protein Bars: Protein bars contain a high amount of calories (usually 200-300) in a very small package. They also sometimes have decent vitamin and enzyme content. A great option for the retreatist.

Beef Jerky: Stores well. Survival situations are strenuous and drain the body of energy. The protein and iron content of meat are helpful in maintaining body strength. Jerky also has high salt content, and gives you that satisfying feeling of “fullness.”

Chocolate: We all know that chocolate bars have a lot of fat and sugar, but for our purposes this is actually a very good thing. One Snickers Bar for instance has around 270 calories, 13 grams of fat, and 28 grams of sugar. I wouldn’t recommend living on them, but they do provide a small meal’s worth of energy in a tiny bar.

Vitamins: You may not have easy access to fruits and some vegetables. A good multivitamin can keep you from wasting away or getting scurvy (this is not a joke. You don’t have to be a pirate to get scurvy from lack of vitamins).

Because the retreatist cannot take a large supply of food with him, he will be far more dependent on what he can use off the land. A small book on wild edible plants would be invaluable. Surveying the area you plan to retreat to would be a good idea, so that you may identify what plants and game will be available to you when you finally have to set up camp. You don’t have to become a horticulturalist, but being able to identify at least a few safe greens could make the difference between staying healthy and placing the mechanics of your body in serious danger.

I would like to make another suggestion as far as food is concerned and it may sound rather odd at first. But, if you see the signs of collapse unfolding and you know the event is near, why not go to the store and pick up some extra fatty foods? Eating more than usual just before a collapse could help you to build up some extra fat stores before the event, which can act as a cushion (literally and figuratively) when your diet suddenly goes into survival mode. I’m not saying we should all get fat quick, but after a collapse you may not have another chance to gorge yourself for a while. Something to keep in mind…

Retreat Gear

The retreatist has to be a master of adaptation. Some gear he might like to have would just not be possible to transport, so he has to make due, or come up with workable and clever alternatives. Here are some examples of gear that may be very helpful to the unique situation of the retreatist.

Electricity: Even the retreatist has items that require batteries and electricity, items he would rather not be without. Two way radios, emergency short wave radios, flashlights, rangefinders, maybe even nightvision. But what happens when the batteries run out? Bringing a lot of extra batteries would add a lot of weight, and they can run out quickly. Some people planning for retreat may forgo all electronics, but I’ve found a better solution; highly portable and durable solar panels much like those used in the military from a company called Brunton:

The solar panels fold up into a small binder-like package, they are very hard to damage, and are extremely light. The system comes with multi-adaptors that allow you to charge any device, and when combined with a portable battery pack (also offered by Brunton), you can store energy all day if needed and never run out of power. This device along with a portable battery charger and good rechargeable batteries would allow you to use your electronics indefinitely without constantly having to scavenge or trade for new batteries. You can order directly from Brunton, but buying from Amazon and E-bay instead could save you hundreds of dollars.

Water: Carrying a large supply of water is just not practical for the retreatist. The general rule is you need 1 liter of water for every 1000 calories your body expends. If you are very active, you will probably expend at least 3000 calories per day, which means drinking 3 liters of water daily. Loading up enough water into your vehicle for even a month may be unrealistic, and impossible if you are hiking to your location. The most reliable solution to get water that doesn’t taste completely vile is to purchase a portable water filtration system like those made by Katadyn.

Katadyn filters can make even the most stagnant pond water safe for drinking. Of course, packing a roll of strong garbage bags (yard work bags are best) will also be necessary to build makeshift rainwater collection units, or a poncho can be used to the same purpose.

Portable Stove: Learning the ins and outs of campfire cooking is a must for the retreatist, but a campfire may not always be a good option, especially if you want to avoid being seen from five miles away (cooking under overhanging tree branches can help disperse smoke, but even this may not be enough sometimes). Having a decent portable stove can solve this issue. There are two that I personally suggest; the first is the Coleman Multifuel Stove.

This stove runs on Coleman fuel, unleaded gasoline, and kerosene. This gives you a wide range of fuel sources which helps when certain fuels are hard to find. The drawback of course is that you have to carry around a stock of fuel, which will eventually run out. Another stove has been recommended to me which solves this problem; the Bush Buddy Stove.

The Bush Buddy burns anything, including twigs and grass, and is designed to contain and re-circulate the heat created. I have not yet used it myself, but I have heard only good things, and I believe it is the best possible option for the retreatist. You would never have to worry about a fuel supply, ever.

Another strategy for the retreatist would be caching of supplies in areas you know you will retreat to. Caching a small amount at a time in different locations can help alleviate the problem of transporting a lot of stock. However, you better be sure you know how to bury the items correctly so they aren’t ruined over time, and you have to be certain that you can find the caches after they are buried.

Now that we have covered gear specific to the two main survival strategies, here is a list of items that everyone should have regardless of which path they have chosen:

Self Defense

Yes, that’s right, we are going to talk about guns. We are going to recommend you buy a gun. We are going to recommend you stock ammunition. We are even going to recommend that you use that gun and ammunition to defend yourself in the event that your life or your freedoms are threatened.

I’m not sure exactly when, but at some point in American history a large portion of our society started equating the philosophy of self defense with malicious violence. It is not immoral to defend one’s self. It is wholly in line with the voice of conscience not to mention entirely rational. It is something we all should have learned in kindergarten; sometimes the bully doesn’t listen to reason, and sometimes there’s no one around to help you. Sometimes, you just have to punch the bully in the teeth.

Nowadays, they send the cops after your five-year-old if he punches the bully in the teeth. People are lambasted for self defense from an early age, and admonished for not informing an “authority figure” instead. But the fact of the matter is, authority figures are rarely if ever around to protect you in bad situations. Most of the time, you and you alone are responsible for your own safety. This is the way life is. We can either accept it, or face the consequences for our stubborn denial.

I have been a martial artist for 22 years, and I understand well the distaste for guns. In my opinion, all violent conflicts should be settled fairly, barehanded, and man-to-man, but this is not our reality. In the real world, unarmed and innocent people are killed by guns daily, by criminals, as well as overzealous soldiers and governments. Logic dictates that the innocent must prepare to shoot back, because they’re innocence alone will not be enough to protect them. A few years ago, I decided it was time to grow up and get over my aversion to firearms.

When purchasing a firearm for survival, there are a couple guidelines people should follow:

Military Grade: Semi Auto Combat rifles are called combat rifles for a reason. They are durable, long lasting, and dependable. They are made to be fired over and over again. Despite what your good hunting buddy may say, cheap hunting rifles and bolt actions are NOT made for combat. They often overheat and malfunction from continuous firing and break easily. Bolt actions are good for long distance shooting, but are too slow when fighting in closer quarters (no matter how Rambo we might think we are). Those with well made semi-auto rifles and pistols designed specifically for combat are more likely to survive than those without.

Caliber: Choosing a weapon in a military caliber (.223, 7.62 by 39, or .308 for rifles, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP for pistols) would be a very good idea, mainly because these calibers will be far easier to find and trade in a post collapse scenario.

Surroundings: Will you be in the city or the country? A long range heavy rifle may do poorly in close quarters city or suburban areas, while a close-quarters carbine would be less effective in the plains or mountains.

Comfort: Some weapons fit certain body types better than others. Finding a weapon that “feels right” instead of awkward, is important. It should feel like an extension of yourself. Accuracy improves greatly with comfort.

Cost: When choosing a firearm that may save your life one day, I find concerns of cost to be less important, but it is understandable that some of us cannot afford “top of the line” so we must find a respectable and affordable alternative.

Here are some rifle recommendations from Neithercorp, divided by more affordable, to more expensive:

…

Cheap But Effective

Russian / Chinese SKS

The SKS is an accurate and very reliable precursor to the AK-47. They are almost impossible to break, rarely jam, and run even when dirty. They are limited however by capacity. Only ten round stripper clips. They are also a pain to modify for AK magazines or scopes without a qualified gunsmith (believe me, we’ve tried, and all it does in most cases is ruin the gun). The cost has gone up quickly on the SKS, but they are still far more affordable than most combat rifles: $300 to $400.

AK-47

Ugly and mean looking. Often associated with terrorists. Whatever, these things last forever. High capacity mags allow for 30 rounds (sometimes more). Good for close quarters. Drawbacks: not very accurate. Trying to shoot at 100 yards or more is pushing it and they are much better at the 50 yard range. Cost: $500 to $600.

Saiga

Saiga is a great company. As far as I can tell, they make the best combat rifle in their price range hands down. The Saiga is basically an AK-47 clone but less costly, not to mention you can get it in various calibers, including .223, 7.62, and .308. They even make a semi-auto shotgun, which I have not yet had the pleasure of testing. Drawbacks would be like the AK; not meant for long ranges. Cost: $250 to $450.

Rugar Mini 14

Well made and reliable. Also fires .223, which is the standard U.S. military caliber, meaning ammo will be widely available. Far less expensive than most rifles in the .223 caliber. Drawbacks: must change to a tactical stock in order to add scope or red dot sight. Loses accuracy past 100 yards. Cost: $600.

CETME

The CETME is similar to the famous HK G3 rifle, but much less expensive. It is very reliable, takes HK parts and some mags, and is probably one of the most affordable .308 long range rifles available. Drawbacks: Newer models sometimes have cheaply made stocks that require replacement with better furniture, as well as reports of some trigger problems. Cost: $600.

Savage 10FCP

Probably the most affordable heavy barreled sniper rifle platform out there. Accolades for accuracy and performance. Drawback: none, except that it is a bolt action, and not meant for extended or close combat. Cost: $800 to $1200.

…

Top Of The Line Wallet Busters

Some of the more expensive but extraordinary rifles include:

Springfield M1A / SOCOM

This rifle is famed and revered by gun enthusiasts for a reason. It is simply bad (in a good way). This gun was my choice for survival and I have never had a complaint about its function. It’s built like a rock, I’ve never had a jam, its accurate out to 500 yards or more (basically a semi-auto sniper rifle), and it has a magazine capacity of up to 30 rounds. Drawbacks: Very difficult to scope. The top ejection design beats the crap out of the cheaper scope mounts and they jar loose quickly. A tactical stock replacement is usually necessary, but honestly, I prefer the iron sights anyway. Cost: $1500 to $2500.

FNAR

FN is a good company that makes high quality firearms. The FNAR is an exceptional rifle designed specifically for semi-auto long range combat and comes with a built in scope mount. Drawbacks: There are no iron sights on this gun. You are basically required to put a scope on it, and good scopes can cost almost as much as the gun itself. Cost: $1300 to $1500.

HK 91

World famous German engineering. Very reliable, very accurate. Drawbacks: none, except the price. Cost: $2200 to $2500.

AR-15 / M16

I’m not a big fan of the AR-15 / M16 platform, but I understand its allure. AR’s are very light, easy recoil, and their tabletop flat stocks allow for good accuracy in close quarters. Their tactical railing systems allow for any number of scopes and add-ons. Drawbacks: The .223 round has certain range limitations, making it better for urban style combat. The railing systems are often taken too far. Some people put so much stuff on their AR’s as to make their weight advantage useless. I sometimes wonder when they’ll make an iPod mount for the AR. Also, feed problems galore. I have not heard of an AR that didn’t jam on a regular basis. You have to keep them immaculately clean in order for them to function. In fact, reports are coming in from Iraq and Afghanistan that troops are specifically requesting old M1A’s / M14’s from storage because the sand is destroying their M16’s. Cost: $1500 to $2500.

…

Pistols And Hunting

Pistols are backup weapons only, and should not be relied upon as the main means of self defense. Semi-auto pistols are much more likely to save your life than revolvers, mainly because of their high capacity, not to mention the greater availability of ammo. Glock’s and Glock clones (such as the Springfield XD) are great combat pistols and very reliable. Expect to pay at least $500 to $600 for a decent sidearm.

Hunting rifles are a bit of a contention among survivalists. What if you go out hunting with a bolt action rifle and are ambushed by men with combat weapons? You will be at a distinct disadvantage. What if you use a combat rifle and the military ball ammo doesn’t work correctly? My solution would be to use a combat rifle with ammo specifically meant for hunting, such as .308 steel-core expansion ammo. In a pinch, regular military surplus ammo can still be used.

The Survival Mentality

More important than any gun, any gear, any preparation, is the mental state of the survivalist himself. One must have confidence in himself and his ability to endure, otherwise he will not succeed. I am consistently confronted by nihilists, some who even claim to be part of the Liberty Movement, who state unequivocally that survival preparation is futile, that we are all “doomed,” that the Elites who are ransacking our country cannot be stopped. Frankly, I’m not certain of that, and neither are they. I do know it is better to stand and fight for what you believe and die in the attempt, than to give up before the fight even starts and die from lack of trying. I wonder how many people told those that fought in the American Revolution that their effort was futile, that the British could not be stopped.

I also am sometimes dismayed by those that prepare for survival only for survival’s sake. To stay alive is important of course, and a primary human drive, but our survival success may hinge not only on our instinct to live, but to also remain free. Without a philosophical or spiritual ideal, without a greater purpose, surviving this economic collapse will be an empty affair with little meaning. To come through the chaos relatively unscathed is admirable, but pointless if the end result is the formation of a tyrannical world government and the loss of our liberties. Each individual who not only survives but fights for what he believes tips the scale away from elitism and oppression. Every person who works towards something greater than himself, a future where such pain and catastrophe no longer hang over humanity, each of these men and women send a shockwave through history that touches elements of society in ways we cannot yet even imagine.

What is the point of giving up now? What do we have to gain? What do we have to lose by fighting back that we are not already about to lose?

Survival is about more than living, it is about more than believing, it is about KNOWING. Knowing what the world should be, and knowing what the world should not be. Knowing in an intuitive way, beyond simple examination and observation. Knowing from a deeper perspective.

In the end, our survival and the survival of our ideals depends not only on our two hands, our cleverness, or even our fear of death, but the content of each man’s heart, and how much of that content he is willing to trust.

Neithercorp Press - 01/18/2010

Governments, regardless of their political structure or historical background, have always striven to not only control information, but also to gather it from the people by covert means. Often, this secretive observation of the citizenry escalates into a completely open and full-fledged surveillance state. The U.S. in particular stands on a precarious edge: the line between abhorring invasion of privacy, and embracing invasion of privacy as necessary for the “greater good.” Many people assume that such a mindset is forced on the masses by the elite, that strength of arms is somehow required to make them accept the conditions of a police state, but this is not always so. It is very difficult for governments, despite any technological developments or resources they may have, to enforce and maintain a fascistic political construct. In order to retain control, they must build a “Surveillance Culture;” a society in which the people watch each other, and where individuals censor themselves instead of being censored by the authorities. In the end, a police state cannot exist without the help of the people it means to dominate. By spying on each other, we destroy ourselves.

But how does a nation reach such a point in its collective psyche? How are we driven to passive enslavement? In this article we will examine the methods used by governments and aristocratic minorities to manipulate the majority towards self imprisonment, as well as examples of how this process is burgeoning in the U.S. at this very moment…

Communist China: The Future Of America?

Many of us conjure images of Hitler’s Germany and hordes of Nazi stormtroopers when considering the idea of a police state, and this extreme example often blinds us to the tyranny slowly building in our own country.

“Well, there aren’t troops in the street committing mass murder” we say, “so obviously we are still free…” But this conclusion is based on only one style of tyranny and using it as our only point of reference makes our viewpoint narrow, and sometimes a bit ignorant.

There are forms of fascism that also wear a “friendly face,” and one need only look across the Pacific to find such a government.

China is a good example of the “modern police state,” and is in itself a construction of Western financial interests. Americans often wonder why we continue to deal with the Chinese Communist regime, even owing them tremendous debt, while they murder and oppress their own citizens. I remember the Tienanmen Square protests and subsequent massacre vividly. I also remember the U.S. government’s response to be muted, even flaccid. All the grandstanding by our politicians and the supposedly hard nosed George H.W. Bush on the horrors of communism suddenly disappeared. The truth was, Western governments who posed as democratic actually had no interest in supporting the Chinese people fighting for liberty. Westerners had made China a police state and they planned for it to remain that way.

Franklin D. Roosevelt himself offered Stalin arms and supplies which were to be used to help the communists during the Chinese revolution, while at the same time supplying lesser arms to Chiang Kai-shek’s army who opposed them. Roosevelt even offered the Soviets control of strategic Chinese sea ports. All of these concessions he made without consulting the Chinese, the Congress, or the American people:

http://teachingamericanhistory.org/library/index.asp?document=918

The Rockefeller Family later supported the heavy handed Chinese government with extensive investments, and with the UN, even helped them form their first one-child policy, which started out as “voluntary,” then over time became severely enforced law:

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/20168/an_argument_against_population_control.html

Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community of purpose. The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao’s leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history.

-David Rockefeller, New York Times, August 10, 1973

What this shows is that the Chinese form of tyranny is not so alien as the average American might think. In fact, China is a “testing ground” for policies that Western Globalists wish to implement all over the world, including here in the U.S.

But what are some of these policies?

Replacing Independence With Interdependence:

In China, as well as all over the world, programs are being instituted to acclimate people towards a more collectivist way of thinking. That is to say, we are being intellectually molded into believing that the group (an abstract concept with little basis in reality) is far more important than the individual, and therefore the individual must sacrifice his independence, or even his life, for the good of the whole. This is evident in social programs, political rhetoric, and even television and film.

A disturbing Chinese pop-culture example of such propaganda (flashy though it may be) can be seen in the Jet Li movie ‘Hero’, in which freedom fighters battle a genocidal despot, only to come to the “enlightened” conclusion that his plan to unite the Chinese provinces under one centralized rule is necessary for the greater good. At the end of the film, they commit suicide for the sake of Chinese unity, even though it is unity under tyranny:

This same philosophy of collectivism is being presented in the form of “community service,” which under the Obama administration, could become mandatory:

The birth of the Surveillance Society is not possible unless a collectivist mentality is first instilled in the populace. This is accomplished by a common cultural bond which is misused to manipulate the masses, such as a spiritual movement, or as in the case of China, a common enemy. The Chinese people’s general hatred of the previous feudal system of royals and landlords led them to revolution, but a revolution guided by international globalists. They ended up with a system just as bad if not more insidious than the former, and still without freedom to decide their own destines because they chose to be driven by collectivism, rather than individual liberty.

This is the ever present M.O. of the New World Order. Using a common enemy, or creating an enemy from thin air (terrorism), to frighten a particular society into conforming with collectivist ideologies. Once this way of thinking has taken root, personal freedoms can be negated more efficiently, and a surveillance grid can be instituted.

Instituting A National ID

In a Surveillance Society, the enemy used to cull the masses is often a phantom, or a minor threat to the government. The real enemy is the public itself, because they are the only force capable of ending the government’s control, thus, steps are normally taken to deal with them accordingly.

This usually begins with the streamlined tracking of the citizenry. One of the first actions utilized by the Nazis during their early rise to power was to institute a national identification card.

“By establishing a people‘s registration (Volkskartei - ID card) we will achieve complete supervision of the entire German people.”

-Herman Göring, 938, quoted in The Nazi Census

China has used National ID cards to control its citizens for decades, and have now moved into RFID computer chipped ID’s which can track every move of every person in the entire country using RFID readers installed in surveillance cameras:

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/08/19/world/china-readies-super-id-card-a-worry-to-some.html?pagewanted=1

http://www.idtechex.com/research/articles/rfid_in_china_00000491.asp

In 2009, the United Kingdom also unveiled a new Biometric ID Card for British citizens. The Card would include an RFID chip, fingerprint data, and possibly in the near future eye retina data:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8175139.stm

Globalist think tanks and the Department Of Homeland Security have for years been pushing the U.S. to adopt a national ID card. In this country, they have opted to change the language they use in order to convince Americans that this is reasonable. Here is a document by the Progressive Policy Institute in 2002 laying the groundwork for talking points recently used to push the Real ID Act:

http://www.ppionline.org/ppi_ci.cfm?knlgAreaID=140&subsecid=290&contentid=250075

Some of the more pronounced arguments used for a Real ID Card in the U.S. are:

1) The Real ID is not a national ID card because it would be state issue, not Federal issue, just like a driver’s license.

Notice that they are trying to play on a technicality here. What they don’t mention is that the DMV of nearly every state would be required to make information available in a national database, which the DHS could access. Blurring the line between State and Federal does not make the Real ID any less of a National ID Card:

http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/privacy/privacy_pia_realid.pdf

2) The Real ID would not be mandatory.

Almost all of the National ID cards used by fascist and communist regimes throughout history have started out as “voluntary,” and were slowly insinuated into the everyday life of the citizenry until finally they became required. Not to mention, it has become very difficult in the U.S. to do anything without an ID. The DHS has even suggested that Real ID’s be required for over the counter drug purchases:

http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2008/01/dhs-suggests-a/

3) A Real ID would protect you from identity theft.

There is no information on your normal driver’s license that a criminal could not get by other means, and even if he did, what could he use it for? The mainstream media has been flooding people’s brains with stories of identity theft and devious hackers, but rarely do these incidences have anything to do with state ID’s. A Real ID would protect us from absolutely nothing, save staving off our own paranoia.

4) State ID’s already have Biometric Data, therefore, adding a little more won’t hurt.

This is an absurd argument. Height, weight, and eye colour are a far cry from fingerprint and retina scanning, being that the latter can be used to track a person’s movements wherever they go. Not to mention, fingerprint and retina data is personal information, and as long as the Fourth Amendment exists, off limits to Federal or State authorities.

5) The Government already has most of your information anyway, so you’re not giving them anything they don’t already have.

This is a form of naïve circular logic. While its true that State ID’s and Social Security Cards already represent a form of national ID, this does not mean we should simply give in and accept a totally streamlined and centralized ID card with a RFID tracking chip and our private biometric data. Perhaps we should not even accept a Social Security Card or the current form of State ID either. The rationale here is: we gave up some privacy, so we might as well give up all privacy. This is not logical in any way.

In the video below, a representative is pitching the conversion of the Social Security Card into a national ID with an RFID chip. Note how he quickly glazes over the chip. Also note the rather unintelligent woman who uses the “they know everything about us anyway, so it doesn’t matter…” argument:

While the Real ID act has been shelved due to the overall American distaste for Big Brother cataloguing, it simply remains on standby in the event that the government sees an opportunity to force it through. Decision on the act has been postponed until 2011; only one year away. Another successful terrorist attack (false flag attack) could be all that is needed to sway a majority of U.S. citizens towards a national ID.

Convert The Census Into A Surveillance Tool

Along with the national ID, census workers were the key in the compiling of data on citizens in Nazi Germany, and were closely tied to the Nazi apparatus. Interestingly, the census here in the U.S. has been operating the same exact way. During WWII, the census gave out the personal data of Japanese Americans to military and local law enforcement officials, which was then used to round them up and place them in concentration camps:

https://pantherfile.uwm.edu/margo/www/govstat/integrity.htm

In 2004 during the presidency of George W. Bush, they were caught providing private data on Arab Americans to Homeland Security:

http://epic.org/privacy/census/foia/

And, in February, 2009, Barack Obama placed the Census Bureau under the direct control of the White House:

http://www.govexec.com/dailyfed/0209/020609cdam2.htm

The Census has even been authorized to create a GPS map marking every front door in America, and a new method of invasive questioning:

http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/10917

http://cbs11tv.com/local/American.Community.Survey.2.1113528.html

An inquisitive and concerned person may ask, what’s next…?

Make Privacy A Privilege, Instead Of A Right

In the U.S., the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution specifically protects American citizens from invasion of privacy by Government or State authorities. The protections outlined by this amendment are being carefully eroded away. I have often heard the argument that there is no need to have private information kept from the government.

“There’s nothing to worry about. If you haven’t done anything wrong, then you have nothing to hide…” is the common talking point.

This statement is extremely irrational for a couple of reasons. First, in the U.S., citizens are supposed to be treated as innocent until proven guilty regarding any crime or suspicion of crime. However, in a culture of surveillance, all people are treated with the suspicion of guilt. The act of constant surveillance creates an atmosphere in which the citizenry must consistently prove its innocence everyday of their lives to an authority which is constantly sitting in judgment. Who has such pure moral conviction as to be capable of overseeing and arbitrating the lives of every human being? The answer is: NO ONE DOES. Certainly not the government. Yet surveillance camera grids are allowed to go up in cities across the country despite any evidence that they deter crime:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25355673/

And, both George W. Bush and Barack Obama have supported FISA legislation, which makes government spying on citizens legal:

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/44/2008/06/20/obama_supports_fisa_legislatio.html

This brings us to the second point: who decided the government was godlike? Governments are made of regular men, some of them unintelligent, some of them violent and vicious, some of them biased, some of them downright evil, and all of them fallible. Why certain subsections of people place them on a pedestal as the bastions of fairness and justice is beyond me. The assumption applied is that they should be allowed to watch over us because they are righteous, and therefore, are afforded the role of “parent” in the society. This is the exact opposite of what was intended when America fought for its independence. Governments should NEVER be given parental power over the masses, but the average American has been lately force-fed a diet of dependence. We have been sold on the idea that instead of providing for ourselves, we should be provided for, and this includes our personal safety.

Perhaps not surprisingly, most modern dictatorial regimes at first receive wide popular support, all on the false promise that the new and stricter government will provide strength and security.

Frankly, such impenetrable safety is an illusion. No one is entirely safe ever, even in a Surveillance Society. If someone wants to do something terrible to you, in the end, you are the only person that has the ability to stop it. This is the cold harsh reality of being human. It is the way life is. Massive government controls, cameras, and law enforcement will not change it. Neither will constant fear. We are responsible for our own lives, whether we like it or not.

If The Surveillance Society Succeeds, What Do We Have To Look Forward To?

Because it is the Globalist model for the future, again we must turn to China. China, while often being praised by many Western governments for its “progressiveness,” has become a living nightmare for those people who cannot or will not conform.

Dissenters in China, even if they are peaceful, are harshly punished with beatings, imprisonment, and even death. Some are simply “disappeared”:

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2010/01/14/world/AP-AS-China-Missing-Lawyer.html?_r=1

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jan/07/china-jails-tibetan-filmmaker

http://www.hrw.org/en/news/2009/11/02/china-secret-black-jails-hide-severe-rights-abuses

Controlling the flow of information becomes a top priority. Many countries including China, the UK, and Australia, have attempted extensive internet censorship:

http://www.computerweekly.com/Articles/2009/12/15/239731/Web-outcry-over-Australia39s-plan-to-censor-internet.htm

http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/from-china-to-the-uk-net-censorship-worldwide-622428?artc_pg=3

As the recent Chinese hacking of Google databases illustrates, the internet is seen as a surveillance device in itself. The west is not far behind. The UK is also compiling a database of all phone, internet, and email traffic for the entire country:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/lawandorder/6534319/State-to-spy-on-every-phone-call-email-and-web-search.html

One of the more startling consequences of a Surveillance Society is the treatment of people as not only the enemy, but also as property. Citizens become units of consumption and production, preferably producing more than they consume.

Both the U.S. and the UK have flirted with the idea of mandatory service programs which would force people of all ages to enter government work plans for allotted time periods. Once again, this is part of the collectivist mentality which says the individual lives only to serve the needs of the group. While they have so far been unsuccessful, expect these programs to return with a vengeance in the event of any economic or political turmoil in Western countries.

In China, even those that are treated with racial disdain, like the Tibetans, are still considered property of the state. One would think that since the Chinese government considers the Tibetans a nuisance, they would gladly allow them to leave the country and immigrate to India. This is not the case. The Chinese have taken it upon themselves to begin executing in cold blood any Tibetans trying to flee what was once their home:

Such actions reveal a frightening obsession with control that is consistent with elitism. It is not enough for such governments to take people’s land, or free speech. They also endeavor to imprison them within the confines of the surveillance grid permanently, like chattel.

While we have not yet reached the point of casual executions on the border, the U.S. has composed a massive list of names, filed and computer catalogued for reference in real-time. It is currently labeled the “terrorist watch list,” or the “no fly list”:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2009-03-10-watchlist_N.htm

http://www.aclu.org/technology-and-liberty/watch-lists

People put on the watch list by intelligence and law enforcement agencies can be blocked from flying, stopped at borders or subjected to other scrutiny. The government claims the list contains mostly foreign names, however, in the past two years, 51,000 Americans have filed “redress” requests claiming they were wrongly included on the watch list.

State ownership of the people has been taken so far in countries like China, and even Israel, that they have morally devolved towards monstrous organ harvesting programs:

http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/story.html?id=20d0fa3c-f0a4-4767-ab09-25456c176c4b

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/dec/21/israeli-pathologists-harvested-organs

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/world/israeli-army-admits-stealing-organs/story-e6frev00-1225812349031

While the UK has stated its goal of creating a somewhat similar process of organ harvesting from the dead without consent:

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/geraldwarner/5721489/Gordon_Brown_wants_to_nationalise_our_bodies_by_enforced_organ_donation/

There is a serious mental block in the average American mind that dictates to us that such things are not possible in this country. The facts show though that most of the criminal activities by governments described above have already occurred in the U.S. at one time or another. We must also understand that these are not Chinese policies, Israeli policies, or British policies; these are Globalist policies, and they are intended eventually for the entire world, including America.

The difference between us and other nations, the reason we are such a threat to Globalism, is that a greater percentage of us are informed, armed, and aware of the costs of freedom. Many cultures do not have the historical experience of self governance. Few have fought successfully for individual liberty. As Americans, we know intimately the price, the joys, and the pain of safeguarding our inborn right to determine our own destiny beyond the prying eyes of politicians and aristocrats. Of all the people in the world, we are the most capable of putting an end to globalism and centralization, if for no other reason than we know better than most exactly what a free society is, and what it is not. This puts us in a terrifying position, a position of responsibility beyond what any generation before us has dealt with. We are the last chance for emancipation from a planet-wide Surveillance Society. If we falter, if we relinquish our liberty in exchange for a pledge of security that can never be fulfilled, if the U.S. is allowed to fall into such despair, the rest of the world will likely follow.

Many researchers, including those here at Neithercorp, have projected that the third and final stage of the economic collapse will begin sometime in 2010. Barring some kind of financial miracle, or the complete dissolution of the Federal Reserve, a snowballing implosion should become visible by the end of this year. Data indicates that the dollar and the Dow are running on nothing but false promises and fiat bailouts, and that this game is slowly winding down. The Fed cannot sustain its current rate of liquidity injections without raising the ire of foreign nations heavily invested in U.S. debt, especially when banks have refused to loosen their lending practices as promised, thereby hoarding all bailout funds made available to them and stifling any chance of a credit market recovery.

Understandably, an important question has arisen among those people who are trying to prepare for the event; When EXACTLY will the collapse occur?

Of course, we aren’t psychic, and narrowing down the final trigger to the exact day, or even the exact month, would be extremely difficult. However, what we can do is explain what signs to look for, how to look for them, and what dangers they foretell. Economics gives the appearance of a complex and confusing science, but most economic indicators taught in business schools are really hollow background noise, designed to do nothing more than make television investment analysts seem more intelligent than they really are. All we need to know are the fundamentals, the unchangeable concrete factors that all economies operate on, and how to tell when they are beginning to falter. The following list is composed of signs anyone with a little work and a little vigilance can keep track of, giving them an even greater edge in knowing when the house of cards is really about to topple…

Gold And Dollar Decoupling

Although U.S. Treasury markets and the dollar are currently being manipulated by the Federal Reserve’s fiat purchasing of T-bonds, watching the Dollar index in comparison with gold can give a good indication of when the final drop will occur. Over the past decade, the dollar has lost around 40% of its value, while gold has increased 400% in value. Gold’s increase is due in very large part to the devaluation of the Greenback, but it also indicates a surging international interest in precious metals, especially in Asia. Traditionally, when the dollar decreases in value, gold moves up, and when the dollar increases in value, gold falls. However, over the past four months, there have been sporadic incidences in which gold’s price has increased even though the dollar gained in value. These incidences have lasted only a day or two at a time, but they show that gold is starting to move on its own accord, slowly decoupling from the dollar and even being used as a competing form of currency in some places.

The Vietnamese Government, for instance, recently threatened to shut down all gold bullion trade in the country by the end of March, because Vietnamese merchants and consumers are abandoning their own inflated currency and using gold instead. The Vietnamese have also stopped using American dollars, once considered a safe store of value:

http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5i2CFXWwN6o8w7nn9GqYjOZ2dHNwA

Banking elites in Western nations have been short selling gold for decades in order to keep the price down, and obstruct gold from becoming a competing alternative to the Dollar. Now, we are beginning to see gold move despite banker manipulation. Just before the onset of a dollar implosion, one should watch for gold to begin jumping steeply higher regardless of the behavior of currency markets. Any reports that blocs of foreign nations are increasing the exchange of U.S. Treasuries (beyond what they have done already) and buying large stores of gold would also signal a dollar collapse. In the event that average Americans begin considering the use of gold and silver in place of the dollar, as in Vietnam, you know the final downturn has begun.

Price Inflation Of Oil

For a long time, oil has been traded on the world markets exclusively in U.S. Dollars. Oil and the dollar are therefore intimately connected. Oil will be the first commodity to reveal any inflation (or hyperinflation) in the dollar during a breakdown. Currently, oil is steadily gaining, now hovering around $80 a barrel, or nearly $3 a gallon. Some in the MSM claim this is due to harsh winter conditions around the world, while others say it is due to the weakness and distrust in the Greenback. Not too long ago, oil prices were manipulated upwards by speculators to the tune of $150 a barrel:

http://money.cnn.com/2008/07/24/markets/cftc/index.htm

I suspect that this manipulation was not just an act of greed, but part of a larger strategy by the financial elite to acclimate Americans to the idea of gas price inflation, so that when it occurs again Americans will not be as quick to react, once again blaming speculators, instead of the real cause; a dollar implosion.

Another oil price increase anywhere near the $150 mark is an implicit warning that the economy is about to falter, especially if that increase continues on through summer months.

Dollar Loses World Reserve Currency Status

An announcement by any foreign nation, especially those that hold large stores of U.S. debt, that they will be dropping the dollar and trading in a different currency is a tremendous warning. The dollar is a very weak currency. It’s only saving grace, the thread it hangs by, is the fact that it still has world reserve status, meaning, it is a trade currency accepted by all nations. If BRIC nations, or OPEC oil producers, were to announce that they will no longer trade goods using dollars, expect an immediate tanking of our currency, along with treasury markets. Those that catch this news as it starts will probably have a month or maybe two to get all their preparations in order and distance themselves from any potential danger areas. Hyperinflation has the distinct ability to bring out the worst in a society. People can handle a Dow collapse, or even deflation, but when a currency is destroyed, all possible means of self support are lost unless one was prepared. Those who are not will lose the whole of their life savings in one fell swoop.

U.S. Treasury Dump

This is a little more difficult to track, simply because most foreign creditors do not want to announce openly that they are dumping their U.S. Treasuries. Such incidences can cause war, among other things. What can be tracked easily is the amount of treasuries being sold to other countries. Currently, other nations have nearly frozen their investment in our debt:

http://market-ticker.denninger.net/archives/1730-TIC-Data-Confirms-Foreign-Appetite-Gone.html

The U.S. deficit for the fiscal year 2009 came in at a record $1.42 trillion, more than triple the record set in 2008. The total national debt (according to the government) is now at a whopping $12 trillion and climbing! This debt cannot be sustained without a constant flow of money from other countries. If these countries stop purchasing our debt, then our Treasury will become insolvent. The country will be bankrupt. The Federal Reserve is currently trying to stave off this event by purchasing U.S. debt; basically legalized currency manipulation, much like paying off one credit card bill with yet another credit card. According to reports, the Fed now accounts for 91% of all U.S. debt purchases. This is a very bad sign:

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/ultimate-shell-game-federal-reserve-funds-us-deficit

Eventually, we will hear reports that foreign holders of treasury debt have not only stopped buying new treasuries, but are also dumping the treasuries they already have because of the Fed’s extreme devaluation policies. If this happens on a large scale, a collapse is about to take place.

Simultaneous Dow / Dollar Drop

Normally, when the Dow loses value and investors pull their savings out of stocks, they tend to put those savings into dollar backed securities or treasuries as a “safe haven”. This causes the value of the dollar to increase whenever the Dow falls, but the balancing act is beginning to change. One clear indication of a collapse would be the simultaneous fall of the Dow and the Dollar over a moderate period. This would denote a loss of safe haven status in the dollar as well as uncertainty among investors in stocks. A double whammy like this could prove to be an alert of impending disintegration.

A good time to watch for this signal would be around June or July, when it is rumored the Fed will begin raising interest rates from near zero.

Jobs And Housing

As we predicted recently, job loss which was hidden by the Labor Department in November is now beginning to show in December. We expect that job loss numbers will begin to grow more aggressive from this point on, as companies that hired temporary workers for the Christmas season proceed with layoffs in February and March.

Real unemployment, counting the U-6 measurement, is around 20%. When this measurement reaches between 25% and 30% (Great Depression levels), the country may be on the edge of final collapse.

Also, watching the small and medium sized business sector will help in discovering when job markets will completely tank. Small and medium businesses support around two thirds of all U.S. jobs, but these companies are now in dire straights:

http://www.cnbc.com/id/34825943

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Job-openings-drop-as-hiring-apf-2800514981.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=8&asset=&ccode=

Most of these firms say they will be cutting even more jobs in 2010, not hiring.

Another important factor is the housing market and what are called “Option ARM Mortgages.” ARM mortgages are basically what created the housing bubble in the first place, by offering loans at artificially low interest rates which then increase after a set time period. Millions of people have home payments based on ARM mortgages, and many of these contracts are about to expire, meaning their payments will mushroom, and they will go bankrupt. California alone has hundreds of thousands of homes with ARM mortgages ready to expire in the next year:

http://www.cnbc.com/id/34729005

Watch closely for announcements of mass ARM mortgage resets, which could herald even greater losses in housing, as well as an increase in the homeless population.

Grocery Store Peculiarities

Wholesale prices of goods have recently been increasing far beyond what mainstream economists had predicted, hinting at the first steps towards inflation:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Spike-in-wholesale-inflation-apf-2682030532.html?x=0

Grocery store chains tend to “absorb” the extra cost of their stock in the hope that wholesale prices will soon drop again, and in order to keep from losing customers due to high prices, but this has the added effect of hiding true inflation from the public. Eventually, stores and manufacturers can no longer absorb the inflation, and either raise their prices, or diminish their volume. Keep careful note of your local grocery stores. Are items being “repackaged” by manufacturers to hold less for the same price? Is your $4, twenty ounce box of cereal now $4.50 and only fifteen ounces? Are items beginning to disappear entirely from the stores stock, especially foreign made goods? Are base goods such as rice or bread increasing in price weekly or bi-weekly? This may be due to an explosion in wholesale inflation, as well as financial weakness in the general economy.

Bank Holiday

A bank holiday is essentially the government closure of all banks and financial instruments dealing with banks for a set period of time. This means you will not be able to pull money from your account, you will not be able to make deposits, and you will not be able to use checks or debit cards, or even use an ATM. If you have no cash (or other valuables) on hand, you are in big trouble. A bank holiday is often announced in response to out of control bank closures, and is supposed to give banks time to shore up funds, as well as keep you from pulling all your money out at once. A bank holiday could also occur in the event that the FDIC is about to crumble, which is very likely. The FDIC is already broke, and is drawing on fiat currency from the Fed and the Treasury in order to continue covering the accounts of shut down banks. Over 140 banks closed last year. If this rate continues, or expands this year, then the FDIC will no longer be able to operate. If a bank holiday is announced, an announcement of Treasury insolvency is also likely.

Terror Attack / New War

The world is on the brink as it is. If a terrorist attack (false flag attack), or a new war arises, it is time to collect your gear, your family, your friends, and make for the hills (if that’s where you plan to go). Any new and extended threat of conflict in 2010 will be used as an excuse to institute martial law and subjugation of civil liberties, not to mention trigger a financial meltdown. Is the morning news reporting an attack on Iran, or the bombing of a New York subway? It’s time.

These events and triggers represent a “litmus test” for the economy that anyone can apply without spending every day in front of a computer screen tracking stock yields, hedge funds, or Federal Reserve press releases. Many people have already made extensive preparations, knowing that a breakdown is imminent, but with a little extra knowledge and effort, their edge on the collapse can be made ever sharper. No amount of preparation will stave off the psychological shock of sudden economic implosion if one does not keep alert to the prerequisite signs. Watching the simple indicators listed above can help in affording you every opportunity, giving you the ability to see the wreck before it even happens.

Neithercorp Press - Jan. 8, 2010

World War III is the most iconic event in American culture that never happened. Since the early 1950’s, generations have been preparing for it, writing books about it, producing films and fictional accounts on it, and even playing video games based on it. The concept of another world war is so ingrained into our popular consciousness that it has become almost mythological. It is a legend, a fantasy story of something far away and incomprehensible, often associated with Tim Lahaye novels and action adventure narratives of religious prophecy and Armageddon. World War III has become “entertainment.”

The cartoon-ization of a “last great global conflict” is due to a natural tendency of human beings to cope with terrifying ideas, often by intellectually trivializing them, and thereby making them easily digestible, much like the proverbial public speaking tactic of imagining the audience with their clothes off.

The problem with this development in our society is that it causes us to become cynical to the point of idiocy when confronted with very real threats. By convincing ourselves that such an event is an impossibility we leave ourselves unguarded and without a conceptual point of reference, because we have not thought about the scenario in a practical levelheaded manner. This is akin to a man who has never even considered the likelihood of being mugged on the street, versus a man who has trained in self defense for just such a situation. When the event occurs, the two men will have totally different psychological reactions; the first man utterly surprised and out of his element with little to no constructive response, and the latter man far less mentally phased and thus more likely to survive.

With this fact in mind, we will endeavor to explore recent world events, along with international agreements and tensions, and how they could be used by Global Elites to trigger a war reaching around the planet.

Most Wars Happen To The Benefit Of Globalists

Elites often attempt to paint a pretty picture, a glossy flower filled love-fest, when it comes to the creation of World Government. The truth however has been and always will be that the road to globalization is paved with the death of innocents and civilizations. Every movement towards the formation of centralized global government has been preceded by unthinkable destruction. This may seem futile and horribly regressive to us, but to Globalists, war is a highly effective and useful tool.

Conflict on a massive scale creates an atmosphere of tension and terror, giving the average man, even men who are nowhere near danger, a sort of perpetual tunnel vision. World War has the ability to trigger the “fight or flight” psychological response and sustain it in an entire society over long periods of time. Maintaining such a mental state in a human being can cause severe exhaustion and emotional imbalance. Imagine the process of interrogation and torture used on a prisoner in places such as Guantanamo Bay, then, apply that to an entire nation of people. War breaks down our psychological defenses as a society, and makes us vulnerable to suggestion.

By creating war, Globalists change not only the political landscape of nations, but also the emotional and rational checks and balances of every individual who has not prepared himself to handle the pressures of fear. In this way, people can be made to forget how things were before, and accept a new world, a world designed around the corrupt appetites of elite minorities, if only to make the fear stop.

I often hear arguments that war is simply a product of temporary mass insanity. That it is often a “blunder,” an “oversight.” Make no mistake, governments and the power brokers behind them WANT war. Indeed, they commonly design wars that never would have happened without their help. Here are only a few of the many examples:

The Spanish American War:

The Spanish American war was one of the first to be a wholly media driven event, created out of thin air and forced on the American public. Elites in Washington, including Theodore Roosevelt, wanted to move the U.S. into an expansionist policy and the realm of empire building. Most American citizen wanted nothing to do with expansionism. Our country had been built in opposition to empires after all. Enter William Randolph Hearst; newspaper mogul and elitist. Hearst papers across the country went on a tabloid spree, reporting on battles between the Spanish government and Cuban guerrilla fighters that were not actually happening, along with exaggerated dramatizations of Spanish government mistreatment of civilians. Of course, the Spanish were certainly not treating the Cuban people well, but the fact that Hearst made stories up in order to paint a grave picture with which to manipulate Americans at home is what is important here.

Upon his arrival in Cuba, Hearst correspondent Fredrick Remington cabled to Hearst: “Everything is quiet. There is no trouble. There will be no war. I wish to return.” Hearst reportedly replied: “Please remain. You furnish the pictures and I’ll furnish the war.”

Hearst’s propaganda though was not quite enough to make the people want to forcefully overtake another country or adopt expansionism. So, on February 15, 1898, an explosion was set on the USS Maine off the coast of Havana, Cuba. 260 out of 355 sailors lost their lives, though strangely, only two ranked as officers were killed. Hearst papers went into overdrive claiming the Spanish had sunk her with a mine or torpedo, and the pretext for war in Cuba was established. Ever since, the U.S. has held an ever more prominent policy of expansionism and empire building.

Interestingly, recent studies, including those of National Geographic, show that the debris from the Maine explosion pointed outward, indicating an explosion from INSIDE the ship, not outside. The government still maintains that this must have been “accidental”:

http://loc.gov/law/help/usconlaw/pdf/Maine.1898.pdf

World War I:

The beginning of WW I is often blamed on a “mindlessly mechanical series of events,” but this is simply nonsense. The embroilment of America in the affairs of Europe was carefully orchestrated and far from accidental.

Norman Dodd, former director of the Committee to Investigate Tax Exempt Foundations of the U.S. House of Representatives, testified that the Committee was invited to study the minutes of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace as part of the Committee’s investigation. The Committee stated: “The trustees of the Foundation brought up a single question. If it is desirable to alter the life of an entire people, is there any means more efficient than war…. They discussed this question… for a year and came up with an answer: There are no known means more efficient than war, assuming the objective is altering the life of an entire people. That leads them to a question: How do we involve the United States in a war. This is in 1909.”

http://www.threeworldwars.com/world-war-1/ww1.htm

Once again, Americans had no interest in expansionism or fighting wars along side Monarchies that we with good reason despised. The key to how we were fooled once again into going against our better instincts lay in the sinking of yet another ship; the Lusitania.

The Lusitania was attacked by a German U-boat and sunk on May 7, 1915, killing 1198 passengers and was later used as a pretext for drawing the U.S. into WWI; this is the commonly held view taught in every high school history class. The problem is that it is only half the story. What it does not mention is the fact that the British goaded the Germans into the attack.

In that era, there still existed “rules of war,” one of which was the expectation that German U-boats should surface before destroying any merchant vessel and allow the passengers to flee the ship. The Germans adhered to this standard until the British began arming merchant ships and ordering them to fly the colors of neutral countries. They were then to sink any U-boat that surfaced to deliver a warning. The good faith of the understanding was ruined, and the Germans decided it was safer to sink the ships without warning and be done with it.

The British also began smuggling arms and explosives using regular merchant ships as cover, making them participants in the war, and therefore targets. The Lusitania was no exception.

When the Lusitania was hit by a German torpedo, the initial explosion was certainly destructive, but not as destructive as the massive secondary explosion passengers witnessed as they were fleeing the scene, which ripped the ship apart. For decades the U.S. and British governments denied that the Lusitania was carrying arms, until divers exploring the wreckage discovered cases of nearly 4 million rounds of ammo! Meaning according to the articles of war, the Lusitania was in fact classified as a combatant, not a non-threatening ocean liner:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1098904/Secret-Lusitania-Arms-challenges-Allied-claims-solely-passenger-ship.html

The most shocking element to this engineered disaster however was the fact the U.S. and British governments were well aware that the ship would be attacked, and ALLOWED it to occur.

The German Embassy took out ads in 50 U.S. newspapers warning that the Lusitania could be made a target. The U.S. State Department in turn contacted each of the newspapers and in a threatening fashion suggested that they refrain from printing the ad. A small portion of the newspapers ignored the State Department and printed anyway, but most of the passengers of the Lusitania never saw it.

Finally, and most importantly, is a fascinating discussion from the book “The Intimate Papers of Colonel House,” between House; an advisor (some would say puppeteer) to Woodrow Wilson, and Sir Edward Grey, the Foreign Secretary of England before the attack on the Lusitania occurred. The coldness of the exchange is haunting:

Grey: “What will America do if the Germans sink an ocean liner with American passengers on board?”

House: “I believe that a flame of indignation would sweep the United States and that by itself would be sufficient to carry us into the war.”

World War II:

World War II was perhaps the first war in which Globalists created an enemy completely from scratch. That’s right; the Nazis were organized and funded by Elites from across the world, including those here in America.

Hitler himself was considered a joke among Germans when he first began his tirades for an “Aryan Empire,” and was shrugged off by the mainstream as a lunatic. But Germany was also in the middle of the worst economic collapse in recent memory, and when Hitler gained support from the Thule Society, a Freemason-like secret society in Europe, and also began receiving investment from Wall Street interests, including the Rockefeller family, the German people started taking notice. Hitler’s new aristocratic friends could bring to Germany what the people desperately wanted; jobs and cold hard cash.

The collusion between the Rockefellers and the Nazis is well documented, and was first exposed by the discovery of the Von Knieriem Documents during the Nuremberg Trials. The documents outline how the Rockefellers, through their company Standard Oil, supplied investment, as well as secret fuel technology, without which Nazi warplanes would have been inoperable:

http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=22

http://www.mazal.org/archive/nmt/07/NMT07-C001.htm

The Rockefellers also started the first eugenics population control program here in the U.S. in 1909, forcefully sterilizing over 60,000 “genetically inferior” Americans long before Hitler put the idea into practice in Germany:

http://hnn.us/articles/1796.html

The Rockefeller Foundation helped found the German eugenics program and even funded the program that Josef Mengele worked in before he went to Auschwitz.

And how about the exposure of George W. Bush’s grandfather, Prescott Bush, as a Nazi collaborator and launderer of Nazi funds:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/sep/25/usa.secondworldwar

This is only a small portion of the evidence which proves that the Nazi’s were an elitist creation, and World War II deliberately engineered.

Iraq / Afghanistan War:

I won’t go into the long and sordid background of the 9/11 attacks and how they were used to foment a never-ending war in the Middle East. To do so would take an entirely separate article. What I will say is, the “official story” of that event has been shown on numerous occasions by thousands of researchers, many of whom are architects and engineers, to be riddled with holes and completely unsatisfactory by any measure of logic. The collapses themselves have been left scientifically unexplained by NIST, the government agency tasked with constructing “answers” for the many oddities surrounding the structural failure of WTC 1, 2 and 7. NIST continues to refuse to release the source data for their computer models they claim prove that the towers fell naturally due to burning jet fuel. Without this source data, none of their conclusions hold any validity. They are simply opinions backed by nothing.

Dr. Steven Jones along with eight other scientists around the world have published a peer review paper in the Open Chemical Physics Journal proving beyond a doubt that military grade nanothermite (demolitions) is present in large quantities in the rubble of the WTC:

http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content.php?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM

http://www.journalof911studies.com/

This means that demolitions were placed in the buildings most likely by someone with easy access and were used to aid in their collapse. The suspects for such an operation I leave for you to decide, though I find it highly improbable that “Muslim Extremists” were involved.

After each of these wars was concocted, governments and Globalists around the planet pushed for even greater centralization of authority and consolidation of power. After the Spanish American War, Americans were herded towards accepting the idea of U.S. expansionism. After World War I, we were convinced to hurtle ourselves into European affairs and squander money and resources on unnecessary conflicts. We also witnessed the formation of the League of Nations, a pre-UN global body meant as a beginning foundation for world government. After World War II, Europe was nearly wiped off the map, its people downtrodden and psychologically ripe for centralization. Without WWII, the European Union would have never been possible. The U.S. also joined the United Nations, the body which is now being pushed along with the IMF for oversight of global financial regulation, as well as unified trade law and “harmonization.” After the Iraq / Afghan war began, a new threat was fabricated in the guise of “terrorism,” a faceless enemy with no real nation or border, no identifiable army, and an elusive and sloppily defined ideology. Anyone can be labeled a terrorist, even an American citizen, thus, a war on terrorism can be sustained indefinitely.

This sets the stage for the next possible global conflict which could be used as the final motivator to pressure the masses into an oppressive New World Order.

World War III: A Realistic Assessment

On Christmas Day 2009 a young Nigerian man by the name of Umar Abdulmutallab was lead into an airport in Amsterdam by what witnesses describe as a “well dressed Indian man” who lied about Umar’s status as a Sudanese refugee. Although Umar was already on a terrorist watch list, he was not flagged, and was allowed to board the plane without a passport and without difficulty:

http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2009/12/witness_alleged_bomber_possibl.html

Also according to witnesses, another man on the plane reportedly (and rather oddly) filmed the would-be terrorist during the entire flight. As the plane approached landing in Detroit, Umar proceeded to ignite an explosive substance hidden in his underpants. Only days after, Al-Qaeda agents allegedly based in Yemen took responsibility. Why anyone would take responsibility for a botched underwear bomb attack I leave to your imagination.

And how has the U.S. Government been proceeding in Yemen? Air strikes killing 63 civilians including 28 children:

But lets set aside the obvious false flag attack used to move into Yemen and ask the larger question: why?

Why Yemen? There are a few solid explanations, including the rather suspicious financial dealings of Umar Abdulmutallab’s father, who has been involved heavily with Yemen Government debt:

http://willyloman.wordpress.com/2009/12/30/billions-in-recent-yememi-investments-and-the-underwear-bombers-daddy-its-a-small-world-aint-it/

But this seemingly small affair in this very small country I believe is part of a much larger design.

Yemen Rebels Labeled “Al Qaeda:”

There are most likely little to no “Al Qaeda” fighters in Yemen, but the Yemeni government has been fighting Houthi rebels in its mountain regions for years, and it seems, not doing very well. In response, Saudi Arabia insinuated itself into the fight, perhaps fearing what a revolution might do to their interests in the region. Only days before the Christmas false flag, U.S. officials were leaking their “concerns” over possible Yemeni rebel “connections” to Al Qaeda in the press:

http://www.csmonitor.com/World/terrorism-security/2009/1221/Saudi-air-strike-kills-Yemen-rebels-as-US-drawn-into-fight

What we are seeing is yet another instance in which our government labels any insurgency group not as rebels with their own particular cause, but as “Al Qaeda,” a global James Bond-ian terrorist conspiracy. Its simple really; if someone stands in the way of your interests, label them as Al Qaeda and a decent sized portion of the American public will look the other way while you bomb their children.

Russia Expanding In the Middle East:

Now we get to the heart of the matter. Many of us have already forgotten the brief war between Russia and Georgia, started when U.S. backed Georgia invaded South Ossetia unprovoked, randomly shooting and bombing civilians, causing Russia to intercede. Not long after this event, Russia began announcing openly plans to expand its navy into the Middle East, including the construction of Navy Bases in Yemen, and Libya, as well as the modernization of a navy base the Russians already control on the coast of Syria:

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/01/16/2468180.htm

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1020643.html

Yemen’s dealings with Russia also include major arms sales:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/27/world/africa/27iht-27yemen.20489549.html?_r=2

Yemen recently announced plans to work closely with Iran in defending its coast from pirates:

http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=99165&sectionid=351020101

What does the U.S. presence in Yemen mean? It means a lot of ruffled feathers (or at least the appearance of such) and the increase of Middle Eastern tension to whole new level, conceivably putting us in a position of clashing with Russian interests.

Enter Israel.

The Israeli Government has said openly and often that it deems Iran a target if they continue to build nuclear power facilities, even going so far as to draw up plans to use low-yield nuclear weapons against them:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/article1290331.ece

http://articles.latimes.com/2009/aug/30/opinion/oe-zenko30

This leads us to what may end up being the most important news of last year besides the “Great Recession”; a defense pact signed between Iran and Syria:

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1260447419513&pagename=JPArticle%2FShowFull

So, what elements are we dealing with here?

We have a nuclear armed Israel itching to attack Iran. We have Iran engaged in a defense pact with Syria against Israel. We have Syria with Russian navy bases and weapons on its soil, and we have the U.S. rampaging through the Middle East encroaching on the borders of Pakistan and Yemen, essentially pissing off everyone. What we have is a Globalist made recipe for disaster, using the same ingredients they have used for the last several major wars.

The Trigger:

An Israeli attack on Iran could draw in the U.S., especially if Russia were to intervene through Syria. The likelihood of a large scale false flag attack is also very high over the next couple years, designed to frighten the American people into support for police state conditions at home, as well as greater complicity in an expanded war overseas. The war would not even necessarily have to become a nuclear event as is commonly expected (the elites would rather keep the planet in good condition for themselves), or even develop far beyond the Middle East. Its effects would still be felt everywhere.

The Advantages Of World War (For Globalists):

As we have covered in previous articles, Russia and other BRIC nations are moving to shore up wealth, buying gold and diversifying their currency holdings away from Treasuries and U.S. Dollars. This indicates the probability that they will soon drop the dollar as the world reserve currency if not entirely. Russia has in several instances stated its desire for a “world currency” and even world government, just as political elements of the U.S. and Europe have in the past. I believe what we see unfolding is a scenario much like that of WWII, except this time, the U.S. sits in the position of the Weimar Republic, its currency ready to hyperinflate, it treasury on the edge of insolvency, its debt holders becoming its enemies, and its government looking for any excuse to dilute personal liberties for the “greater good”.

Russia and other eastern nations appear to be forming an opposing economic (and perhaps political) block, yet the ultimate goal of the elites there is the same as it is for elites here. If war were to occur, it would once again be puppet governments set loose upon each other in an illusory conflict in which the real targets are the masses themselves.

The goal is to force the people to take sides, to divide them against each other and make them forget the true enemy; the elites who cultivated the problem in the first place. Under the threat of world conflict or rampant terrorism, the average American could be made to feel “disruptive,” or even “traitorous” for speaking out against the war, while those who point out the dangers of the police state could simply be labeled terrorists themselves. Such an atmosphere could also distract our attentions away from the eminent economic breakdown. It is difficult to imagine this happening here, but think of how many Germans laughed at Hitler in his early days, as opposed to how many eventually followed him when they were faced with absolute desperation.

In the midst of all this of course would stand the EU and the UN. I believe whether a war is triggered or the economy is simply left to disintegrate, it will be the UN and European interests that “dash to the rescue” with a new stabilized currency and unified government when all seems lost. Just as in the past, Globalists want to erase history, rewrite it, and play the part of the hero. With an extra century or more of constant propaganda, who would know to argue otherwise?

The Solution

What we have just covered is a possible state of affairs based on the circumstances of the moment. It is by no means our fate. What this examination is meant to convey is the gravity of the task before us, and the reality that it is we who must halt the machine in its tracks. We cannot leave it to future generations; to our children or theirs. It must stop right here. This is our fight, and if we do not succeed then there may not be a second chance for humanity. By continuing to educate our neighbors on the threats confronting us, and by preparing for the worst, mentally as well as physically, no future is set in stone.

I sometimes hear words like “impossible,” “pointless,” “futile,” in regards to our situation, and the obstacles which we face. “Impossibility” is an empty term driven by doubt, not by concrete reality. There is no “impossibility,” only destiny, and destiny is something we make, not follow. As far as I have seen men fall, I have never in the whole of my life believed there was anything we could not do. As long as we hold by what is true, there is no such thing as the insurmountable.

Regardless of where we are headed, be it moderately troubling times, or the worst of all possible worlds, our job here now is to at once walk through fire and yet stand immovable. This is what we are here to do.

Inherent in every human being lurk the qualities that make us capable of indelible and enduring good, or astounding and catastrophic evil. Many of us struggle with these natural inborn psychological dualities every day of our lives. With the help of conscience; the ever present voice of the unconscious which guides us towards balance, many of us survive the internal battle without inflicting too much damage on the innocent bystanders around us.

I used to believe that all people endured this same struggle equally, that everyone wanted to eventually achieve that ever elusive self awareness that cuts through the fog of life and makes us feel whole. I believed that all men who committed terrible crimes and injustices against others did so out of ignorance and blindness. Surely, they had lost their way, and did not fully understand the implications of their actions. This did not make them any less responsible, but could they not be redeemed? Had they not let their own shadows run wild in the daylight without knowing the consequences? Weren’t all of us, even the worst of us, deep down still striving to do what was right?

In this belief I must now admit, if I am to remain true to my conscience, I was terribly mistaken…

What I did not comprehend when I was younger was that not all men struggle against the dark corners of their own hearts. Some men revel in them. Some men embrace their failings, their hatred and their envy, their vicious desire for control over their environment and those in it, and they do it deliberately, completely aware of the imbalance and pain they are inflicting on others. Where I see weakness of character, they see untapped strength; the strength of cold and unrestrained malevolence. They were not “victims” of their own ignorance. These men had traversed the River Styx and glimpsed the mythological gates of hell, the psychological barrier between saints and madmen. They stood at the edge of reason and truth, looked out into the nightmarish abyss at the back of their own psyches, and liked what they saw!

If there was ever anything closer to the definition of “evil,” I have not heard of it.

This methodology, this philosophy of embracing one’s darker nature, is ever present in an organized group of people we have come to label “Global Elites.” They have existed in various forms for centuries but their goals have always been the same. In this article, we will examine some of the early influences that gave birth to the elitist philosophy, as well as some possible explanations as to why they do what they do.

Plato: Catalyst For Elitism

Elitism has existed perhaps as long as man has existed, but was not implemented on a broad social scale until the formation of empires such as Babylon. It later blossomed into a full fledged brand of “spiritualism” under the watchful eyes of the Greek aristocracy and the tutelage of Plato, or as elitists sometimes dub him, “The Divine Plato.”

It is hard to say so many centuries later what the real intention of Plato’s Dialogues were. Did he mean them to stand only as metaphorical sociological examinations, as questions designed to promote healthy debate? Or, did he write them as a blueprint for society expecting them to be translated literally and then implemented in the real world? Whatever he originally intended, his views on social structure became the underlying foundation for the monstrous organized brand of Global Elitism we now know today. These views are most prominent in Plato’s “Republic,” however, they are present in nearly all of his works.

Plato had a very low opinion of the majority of the human populace, often stating that the concept of Democracy; rule by the common man, was far less than ideal. In one of Plato’s famous arguments, he proposes that it is better to be ruled by a bad tyrant, than be a part of a bad democracy, since in a bad democracy, all the people would be responsible for the terrible deeds of a nation, rather than one individual (of course, Plato fails to realize that by letting a “bad tyrant” come to power in the first place, the people are still ALL responsible for any terrible act that tyrant commits). Instead, he believed, there were several levels in which society could form itself, and he listed them in order of significance:

Aristocracy (rule by the best)
Timocracy (rule by the honorable)
Oligarchy (rule by the few)
Democracy (rule by the people)
Tyranny (rule by one person, rule by a tyrant)

Plato seems to see no threat in the idea of Aristocracy, and the possibility of a group of men labeled “best” reverting to tyranny appears to have never dawned on him. This is even more evident in his idea of the “Philosopher Kings”; a “guardian class” who are so steeped in knowledge and wisdom as to be nearly infallible and ideally suited to rule over the lives of others. The elites of today salivate over such concepts, because they provide an easy avenue for the justification of their own political ideals of feudal rulership. In fact, Plato and his Philosopher King scenario were often expounded by University of Chicago professor Leo Strauss. Strauss’ teachings went on to become the political linchpin for what we now call “Neo-Conservatism:”

http://www.opendemocracy.net/faith-iraqwarphiloshophy/article_1542.jsp

http://www.jeetheer.com/politics/strauss.htm

Strauss promoted many of Plato’s more questionable tenets, including the idea of the “Noble Lie.” In his book “Persecution and the Art of Writing”, Strauss outlines why secrecy is necessary. He argues that the wise must conceal their views for two reasons – to spare the people’s feelings and to protect the elite from possible reprisals (reprisals they likely deserve). He also believed that the only true balance in human nature was the will of the strong; the idea that morality is built upon the views of those who are strongest. The weak had no choice but to adopt the implicit morality of the strong.

Strauss often talked of the need for a moral imperative and even a benevolent God, but interestingly, Strauss was not only an atheist (according to some of his own colleagues), but also a moral relativist. Young and naïve students of Neo-Conservatism often argue that Strauss was a promoter of high morals because he mentions them so often in his books, but they do not seem to understand the context in which he uses them. Strauss felt that a moral framework was a useful tool in manipulating the masses, and nothing more. He was in no way a man of conscience. Religion or any other system that focused on the development of conscience was meant for the lowly serfs, while the elite “Philosopher Kings” would rule with their own set of virtues, virtues to which the commoners were supposedly not equipped to mentally grasp.

What Plato accomplished, and Strauss later expanded on, was the mutation of elitism from a mere political movement with many undesirable consequences, into a full fledged philosophy bordering on cultism. Elitists were no longer simply an overprivileged class of tyrants and sadists making the lives of common men miserable, now, they were “necessary” to the very mechanics of society. They were “guardians” with the godlike responsibility of molding and directing the course of all humanity. Without them, we would be “lost.”

The weaknesses of this methodology are numerous and obvious. It promotes the concept of “equality as illusion,” which may have some legitimacy since all people are born with inherent and unique qualities. However, men like Strauss take this fact and twist it, claiming that because we are all different, this means that some of us must be naturally “better” than others, and therefore, elite. This is an extremely childish interpretation of inborn dynamics.

According to the archetypal discoveries of Carl Jung, we are all born with the same psychological constructs, however, each person has a unique relationship to these constructs, meaning, the way in which we embody the archetypes we are born with is particular to each individual. This means that while every person may develop a different brand of intelligence, unless there is a physical brain impairment, we are ALL capable of being intelligent. The elitist philosophy extolled by Plato and Strauss claims that some people are simply born far more intelligent than others, and that these people, being so naturally advanced, should be given free reign to make our decisions for us.

Who is qualified to categorize human beings into such narrow labels? Who decides what intelligence truly is? While one group may focus more on intellect and critical thought, prizing logic above all else, another may see intuition and emotional advancement as true brilliance. How can one determine if a person is hindered rationally and emotionally to the point of being incapable of progress? Does the theory of Plato not limit all men into static states of being? Have people not proven century after century, generation after generation, that we have the ability to change, adapt, and grow?

Some may argue that the lack of intelligence in the average man is blindingly apparent if one only looks around himself. But this way of thinking is based on an invalid assumption; the assumption that because a man acts unintelligent, he is therefore incapable of ever being intelligent. One contradiction I find most interesting about elitists is that they often preach about the natural stupidity of common people, yet, they place most of their massive resources into keeping the public unaware and “out of the loop.” If the average man is so “naturally inept,” then why have elitists put so much energy into trying to keep us stupid? Why do they keep information, data, the truth of the world, to themselves? Are we not so mentally handicapped that we would not understand the truth even if we knew it?

The fact is, they KNOW we are intelligent, why else would they feel the need for secrecy and lies?

While given the appearance or the dressings of wisdom, the elitist ideal is actually a mish-mash of highly flawed theories and biases flung together so that they may absolve themselves of their crimes against conscience and against mankind. By the standards of logic alone, they have proven themselves to be far less intelligent than they wish others to believe.

Machiavelli: The Methods Of Control

If any historical figure wholly embodies the elitist ethic, it would have to be Niccolo Machiavelli. Most famous for his political treatise entitled The Prince, Machiavelli was an aristocrat extraordinaire, counseling numerous monarchies on the best methods for controlling their respective populace. He was also a military advisor and writer of strategies on war, giving his ideas for social manipulation a cold and violent edge.

Some historians argue that Machiavelli’s works on political subversion and tyranny are actually a form of satire, because no one would reveal his secrets of control in the way Machiavelli did unless he was trying to expose the horror of elitism. I find this theory highly unlikely. Machiavelli was an advisor to kings, not a revolutionary with any desire to rock the boat he had been sitting in his whole life. I think it much more likely that he was simply an egomaniac, perfectly willing to speak openly about his disdain for the masses, as many elites are.

The most important (and dangerous) philosophy Machiavelli put forward was his view on good results accomplished by evil deeds. Machiavelli lived at the edge of the Renaissance, and perhaps saw before many that the world was changing. In the past, elites could easily abuse the people through force of arms, and there was no need to paint a kinder picture on their own despotism. However, a sense of revolution, a hatred of monarchy was growing in the populace. The need to manipulate the public through rhetoric instead of only violence was becoming more evident. The people now had to be tricked into going along with their slavery, and Machiavelli was perfectly willing to devise strategies for this eventuality.

He did this by promoting the idea of “the end justifies the means.” That is to say, if elites wanted to remain in control of the public, they had to convince the public that evil deeds were necessary in order to achieve a “greater good.” This was the first truly cognizant formation of what would be later called “Moral Relativism,” although, Machiavelli was more of the opinion that rather than being amoral, all men were inherently bad. Here are some quotes from Machiavelli on these points:

“Men never do good unless necessity drives them to it; but when they are free to choose and can do just as they please, confusion and disorder become rampant.”

“As all those have shown who have discussed civil institutions, and as every history is full of examples, it is necessary to whoever arranges to found a Republic and establish laws in it, to presuppose that all men are bad and that they will use their malignity of mind every time they have the opportunity; and if such malignity is hidden for a time, it proceeds from the unknown reason that would not be known because the experience of the contrary had not been seen, but time, which is said to be the father of every truth, will cause it to be discovered.”

“The people resemble a wild beast, which, naturally fierce and accustomed to live in the woods, has been brought up, as it were, in a prison and in servitude, and having by accident got its liberty, not being accustomed to search for its food, and not knowing where to conceal itself, easily becomes the prey of the first who seeks to incarcerate it again.”

Among other things, Machiavelli taught that a tyrannical ruler must offer up a proxy, a sacrificial lamb to the public in order to maintain their complicity. In his time, rulers would execute former leaders, councilmen, advisors, and others who were expendable in order to satisfy the public’s need for justice, while at the same time maintaining control over them. This strategy has been honed to perfection in the U.S. political system, in which the elites control both major parties. By sacrificing the public image of George W. Bush, the elites were able to stave off the growing discontent among Americans over the government. They then replaced him with Barack Obama, a man whose policies are nearly identical to Bush’s. In this way, Machiavelli has influenced the cultures of today.

The problem with the “ends justify the means” argument is that it treats the “means” as a sine qua non.

Say my goal is world peace, but I use lies, war, genocide, and oppression to achieve it. Then, I make the claim afterwards that all this death and destruction is vindicated because world peace was in fact achieved. My assumption here is that world peace could not have been achieved without the destruction. What grounds do I have for this assumption? The answer is none, because no other method was attempted to achieve peace. I have also assumed that there are no new methods for achieving peace, methods which I had not thought of. Therefore, the “ends” DO NOT justify the “means,” because there are many means to an end, some far more honorable than others.

So, what point of reference do we have to determine whether means are justifiable? The answer is conscience, something we will discuss greatly in the next section.

The Marquis de Sade: Do What Thou Wilt

Many people have a tendency to become preoccupied with the elements of sexual perversion when examining the work of the Marquis de Sade, but this is really a side note to the bigger issues at hand. The real root of the Marquis’ message is one of corruption, dominance, and amorality. His sexual escapades were merely a means by which he expressed these “values.” He said:

“There is nothing either fundamentally good, nor anything fundamentally evil; Everything is relative, relative to our point of view.”

From this single rationalization, all the horrors of Global Elitism can be attributed. Through the philosophy of Moral Relativism, any crime, any injustice, any infliction of pain or death on others, can be easily placated as “natural” to the specific viewpoint or circumstance of the man committing the terrible act. The Marquis de Sade’s nihilist worldview can be summed up as follows:

(1) God’s nonexistence reduces the universe to a purely materialist Nature, a self-running mechanism; “the perpetual motion of matter explains everything.”

(2) People are determinist machines, which annuls moral responsibility. You cannot help it, then, if you are sexually perverse or depraved.

(3) There is no afterlife, so your conduct does not matter.

(4) Merely the child of local custom, morality is relative to culture and geography, and therefore fictive.

(5) Nature is our only ethical guide; humans are no more significant to Nature than insects. And since Nature uses matter from dead life forms to create new ones, crime, destruction, and death are necessary and pleasing to her. Therefore murder is good, and the mass murderer is the highest human type.

(6) Born isolated, the individual is solely important, with obligations to nobody and only selfish motivations. Each individual is pitted against all others. His only maxim is to “Enjoy myself, at no matter whose expense.”

(7) Man tends naturally to dominate others and inflict pain, which he enjoys.

(8) Ordinary people are utilitarian objects, the playthings of the wealthy, powerful and godlike libertines, who are utterly unloving.

(9) Beauty and innocence inspire only diabolical cruelty. Since materialism makes pleasure proportional to stimulus, the greater your cruelty, the greater your pleasure.

(10) Maximum selfishness and cruelty are therefore the proper course.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/1960890/The-Marquis-de-Sade

The key to the entirety of Moral Relativism is the belief that we are born as “blank slates,” and therefore our belief in right and wrong is completely dependent upon our environment, meaning, morality is an empty product of cultural taboo. This is, of course, entirely false, and has been proven incorrect by numerous scientists and psychologists. Watch the film linked below for an in-depth analysis of the failings of Blank Slate Theory:

http://neithercorp.us/sdsl

Setting the debate over the existence of God aside, the psychological reality is, all human beings have an inherent archetypal sense of what we call good and evil, and this sense is common to every culture regardless of environmental conditions, proving The Marquis de Sade’s conclusions false. Conscience is the messenger, or the interpreter if you will, of the archetypal sense of balance.

Although the Marquis’ philosophy is logically impractical not to mention psychotic, it does illustrate very well the elitist mindset.

A rapist, for instance, often does not derive much pleasure from the sexual act itself, but the control involved over others. Thinking of elitists in such a way helps in understanding the warped reasoning behind their actions. Like the Marquis de Sade, elites are so possessed by their unlimited desire for power and control that they themselves fall into their own pattern of self created determinism. Finding that they will never have enough control to satiate their desires, and discovering that such power over the environment is unreachable, they turn towards thoughts of complete destruction. For them, destruction is the pinnacle of control.

What we also find is that the egotism of elites causes them to strive for what they feel is “true individualism.” They see conscience as psychological bondage, a will imposed on them by society, or the universe itself. By breaking free of conscience, they believe they have achieved ultimate freedom, and elevated themselves to a plane beyond the common man. This is called “transcendence through evil.”

But by disowning their inborn qualities, they have actually lost everything that gives them individuality, as well as humanity. They have essentially made themselves inwardly dead, soulless dolls driven by nothing but base desire. Instead of self-destructing under the weight of such ambition, they have focused it all into a single collective goal….

The New World Order: Destined For Failure

The New World Order which the Global Elites speak of so often is not just a political shift, or a social reformation; it is an attempt to subvert the human psyche. It is an attempt to defy nature. Controlling the lives of the masses is not enough. What they want most, is to transmute the human heart and bend it in any manner they wish until all traces of conscience and individualism have vanished from the species. Such an act could take centuries, perhaps millennia, and even then it may still be impossible.

When examining the shift towards the NWO, I often take into account the elitist fascination with the game of chess. Zbigniew Brzezinski makes this fascination laughably obvious in his book “The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy And Its Geostrategic Imperatives.” I am an avid chess player myself, and I understand the game well.

In order to win consistently in chess, one must above all things become exceedingly ruthless. There can be no momentary lapses of compassion. This is something the elites strive for. You must also be willing to sacrifice any piece in order to meet the greater objective; another elitist trait.

In the game of chess, the greatest players do not win so much by attacking their opponent; they win by forcing their opponent to move in the way they want, until, in effect, the opponent defeats himself. This is a fulcrum point for the strategy of Globalism. They set the noose upon our necks, but it is our aimless struggling that tightens it until we suffocate.

The problem is, life is NOT a chess game. People do not follow straightforward patterns laid out beforehand. Some of us walk off the board entirely. Some of us make our own rules. Sometimes, the pawns change the entire dynamic of the game, and this is why the elites will fail. We aren’t playing anymore.

The elites often boast of possessing an unparalleled wisdom, an awareness that supercedes all others. If they had attained any wisdom, however, they would have already realized the futility in attempting to control the destinies of other men. Such power is in itself an illusion, for the only power over us is that which we give away. Therefore, the elites only have power over us in so much as we give them explicit consent. All it takes is for one man to say “no,” and the entire web begins to unravel. Control of the world is a fantasy, a cartoon, a cabaret, a childish whimsy that those with legitimate wisdom grow out of. The farce can only continue so long as everyone submits to deception.

Here humanity waits, standing still in the long solemn dark, poised to step from the cold cast shadow into daylight. The great threat to elitism has been and always will be the so called “common man.” We are the honest and faithful explorers of the soul, unhindered by presumptions of superiority or fixations of malice. We are the antithesis, the counterweight, the opposing force, for we seek no power, no dominance, no control over the world; only understanding. We are the future, not the elites. Their time is nearly over, and with their passing, may we see all the horrors they have wrought undone, until life can be lived the way it desperately needs to be lived; with wide eyes, with honor, with sincerity.

Strength, real strength, comes not from the exile of conscience, or surrender to the murky waters of amorality; it comes from trust in one’s own heart. It comes from that intuitive knowing, knowing without calculation or observation. It comes from the utter invincibility of truth; a force against which even the most depraved of elites cannot stand.

One of the most powerful forces in human psychology is the force of habit. Consistency, apathetic comfort, ties men to the ocean bottom to squeeze every ounce of oxygen from their last breath until it is gone, and we wake up at 50 or 60, only realizing then that we have done the same things and thought the same thoughts for decades without err. Repetition makes us easy to startle and easy to control. Any sudden break in daily routine can cause most people to freeze; animals gripped with terror at the very possibility of necessary individual action or adaptation.

This same repetition induces a type of “sleepwalk” in the average person, a zombie-like reanimation of brain functions that shriveled up and died years before, giving the impression of “life,” but in reality, it is merely a life on autopilot.

This is what makes catastrophes so catastrophic. It is not always the events themselves that reap such destruction, but people’s delayed reactions and dulled senses. The more ignorant the populace, the more magnified and painful such events become. Our lack of knowledge and reasonable action sets our own house ablaze, brings economies to ruin, and murders civilizations. Others may tip the problems into motion, but in the end, all of us, each and every individual, is responsible for the final result.

It is nearly Christmas, 2009, and the dangers of routine are never more blindingly obvious than they are at this time of year. A dangerous economic storm looms, its effects culminating most likely sometime in 2010. Many people know its there, they can feel it, but the chains of routine drag them back. “Our world will remain the same tomorrow as it was today…” they tell themselves, “…how could things possibly change?”

Mixed Signals Indicate Economic Disinformation

There are a number of half truths and financial fantasies floating around the U.S. today, which may explain why some have decided to throw caution to the wind, adopting a cult-like blind faith in the “unsinkable” American economy. I suspect that the consequences for this error in judgment will become quite clear to most by the end of next year, but until then, let’s examine our current situation, what the government has to say about it, and the reality they wish to gloss over.

Unemployment Thwarted By Bailouts?

Unfortunately, it depends on who you ask. If you ask the Labor Department, the U.S. lost only 11,000 jobs in November, far less than forecast, and unemployment evened out to 10% from 10.2%. Great news, right? It would be, if it were true…

Other data shows that the major revision in job losses may be an overenthusiastic calculation by the Labor Department.

First, the holiday season is notorious for generating thousands of temporary, low-paying part time jobs with an average of only 15-20 hours a week. The Labor Department counts people working these jobs as fully employed even though they do not make nearly enough money to support themselves and most will likely lose their positions once the Christmas season is over. Even with this influx of minimum wage holiday jobs to dilute unemployment numbers, it appears most retailers are only hiring about half of the number of temporary workers they did last year:

http://www.kidk.com/news/local/78476852.html

What this means is, unemployment will probably hit very hard in February and March when retailers begin cutting back once more, especially if Christmas profits fall short of target.

Second, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that the Labor Department is grossly and deliberately misreporting unemployment figures. Other groups which measure unemployment, including the ADP, have released national job loss reports that greatly differ from that of the Labor Department for November. In most cases, the Labor Department “adjusts” its numbers a month later to match ADP’s more accurate assessments. Very rarely do the ADP’s numbers completely overshoot actual job loss calculations. For November however, the Labor Department predicted only 11,000 jobs lost, while the ADP measured 169,000 jobs lost!

http://www.adpemploymentreport.com/

This is a major discrepancy! Either the ADP has somehow calculated way off the mark (which rarely if ever happens), or the Labor Department has rigged the numbers. Such a discrepancy by the Labor Department could not be made accidentally. It is hard to say which one is the case, but since the ADP is consistently accurate, and the Labor Department has more reason to flub the statistics, I will have to lean towards the ADP’s numbers as a realistic representation of November job losses.

What is more frightening is that eventually, the Labor Department will have to account for all the lost jobs they hid last month. When they make this adjustment, it will seem as though job loss has exploded after a short lull. This will send an abrasive shock through markets next year. In fact, markets recently took a hit as the government reported that the number of Americans filing for initial unemployment insurance at the beginning of December jumped much higher than analyst expectations:

http://money.cnn.com/2009/12/10/news/economy/initial_jobless_claims/index.htm

One would think claims should begin to dissipate after the miracle jobless drop in November.

Adding a sharper edge to this realization is the fact that a record 37.2 million Americans now require food stamps in order to survive, while the media blathers on about imminent recovery. That is 1 out of every 8 people in this country:

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601012&sid=aFbqGE.lEdi0

It is these kinds of mixed signals that reveal misinformation and half-truths by MSM and government sources.

Waiting For The Return Of The Dollar? Don’t Hold Your Breath…

As we have predicted in the past, erratic market movements have begun to occur this holiday season, and the artificial Dow rally will probably not make it through the winter. With uncertainty in stocks comes a flight to “safe haven” investments. Historically, the U.S. Dollar has been considered a safe haven, and out of habit, some investors continue to dump their assets into dollars when expecting fickle market conditions.

Recent weakness in the Euro has also lifted the dollar. Not drastically by any means, but enough to give the impression that the Greenback may soon make its return. Great news, right? Again, not quite…

Many investors make the mistake of looking only at the relative weakness of other world currencies when assessing the Dollar’s strength, but there are many other factors to consider. The Greenback is unique in that it derives its strength not so much from the overall health of the U.S. economy, or any solid circulation fundamentals, but from the fact that it is the “world reserve currency”. When we examine the foundation of the Dollar, we find an extremely weak overprinted currency belonging to a country with a $9.2 Trillion projected deficit and totally reliant on foreign investment. However, as long as the Dollar retains its label as the world reserve currency, it will continue to have a psychological significance to investors.

It would not take massive inflation to collapse the Greenback (although this is occurring). Wholesale prices jumped 1.8 percent last month, more than double the gain analysts expected, and sparking fears that the Fed will soon be forced to raise interest rates:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Spike-in-wholesale-inflation-apf-2682030532.html?x=0

Mainstream economists are attempting to downplay these numbers by claiming that the inflation will be temporary, but in reality, we are only seeing the beginning. This also throws a monkey wrench into the arguments made by some financial advisors that the dollar is safe, and we are more likely to see deflation than inflation. If this was truly a deflationary collapse like the Great Depression, then why have prices on goods increased instead of decreased? We should have seen substantial price cuts on commodities and base manufacturing materials if deflation was the threat, but this has not occurred.

A deflationary collapse would be far preferable to an inflationary collapse. With the dollar still intact, the economy could be rebuilt without help from outside agencies like the IMF. We know that the Elites are attempting to force the U.S. to answer to a centralized economic authority and accept a global currency in the form of Special Drawing Rights. They cannot accomplish this goal without collapsing the dollar. Period.

Setting the inflation threat aside, though, the only trigger necessary for a Dollar implosion would be for it to lose its reserve status in the eyes of the international financial community. Once this superfluous status is removed, the Dollar would no longer be considered a safe haven investment, and its value would plummet.

The signs that this event is about to occur are becoming more evident, most especially in Treasury Bond auctions and investment:

http://www.treas.gov/press/releases/tg443.htm

http://market-ticker.denninger.net/archives/1730-TIC-Data-Confirms-Foreign-Appetite-Gone.html

The “Treasury Yield Curve” is now the steepest it has been since at least 1980:

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=atmWh_C.Afkk

Foreign investment in U.S. debt has plummeted. Barack Obama is attempting to auction off $150 Billion in U.S. T-bills, but net foreign acquisition of long-term securities, taking into account adjustments, is estimated to have been only $8.3 billion. Even more disturbing, foreign holdings of dollar-denominated short-term U.S. securities, including Treasury bills, and other custody liabilities decreased $43.9 billion. Foreign holdings of Treasury bills decreased $38.3 billion. Meaning, not only are foreign investors NOT buying American debt, they are also beginning to get rid of the treasuries they already own! The biggest purchaser of U.S. Treasury debt is now the private Federal Reserve, printing money out of thin air and buying T-bills in order to prop up the value of its own currency! This cannot go on for much longer.

In order to permanently strengthen the basic value of the dollar, one of two things must happen; either the Fed must decrease the supply of dollars in the system (they are doing the opposite, printing up to $24 Trillion out of thin air in the span of a year), or, the Fed must somehow increase demand for all the dollars being created. As the dismal results of recent treasury auctions show, NO ONE wants dollars, especially not for the long term.

The consequences of this are obvious. Eventually, our incredible debt will become unserviceable, and the dollar will become completely undesirable. The Federal Reserve will be forced to raise interest rates and stop its endless printing, which will then pull the rug out from under the Dow and the T-bill market, making things even worse. Dollar proponents always seem to forget this very important detail; America is taking on more debt than it or any other country has in history. Without continued exponential investment from other countries, this debt will end the dollar, regardless of the weakness or strength of other national currencies, or the true rate of inflation.

For now, the Dollar will enjoy an increase in value due to weakness in Europe and uncertainty in stocks, sending more crisscrossed signals to the public as to the actual health of the economy. As far as the basics are concerned however, this increase will be short lived.

Credit Market Recovery? Not A Chance…

The stated purpose, the entire reason for the Banker Bailouts and the flood of printed money into our financial systems, was to “restore credit markets” so that banks could begin lending again.

First off, such a concept is astoundingly moronic. What caused the collapse of the housing market in the first place? Unhindered accumulation of debt by people who could not afford to pay it back! This debt was, of course, facilitated by the private Federal Reserve’s artificially low interest rates, which gave banks free reign to throw cheap money wherever they pleased. When people began to default on their loans en masse, the bubble burst, and triggered the landslide we are seeing today.

How exactly would the creation of more lending, and therefore more debt, fix a problem caused by too much debt? If the average American can’t afford to pay back their old debts, then why in the world would they want to take on new debt? The philosophy of forcing liquidity into the same debt mechanisms which caused the problem in the first place to save the economy could only be dreamed up by someone with the mind of a naive child, unless, that someone wanted to deliberately make the problem worse….

If that is the case, then they have succeeded admirably.

Banks received trillions of dollars in bailout money, but still have not returned to standard lending practices. In fact many have tightened their restrictions on lending even further:

http://moneyfeatures.blogs.money.cnn.com/2009/12/07/mortgage-lenders-still-arent-lending/

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/business/banks_need_to_lend_now_wIZJF5AD5gzJPV8ICjaByK

The Treasury has reported that bank lending balances continued to drop nine consecutive months through October:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Treasury-report-shows-bank-apf-2357245330.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=6&asset=&ccode=

So the goal of the bailouts, the goal given as an excuse to assuage the anger of the American people, was never accomplished, and probably never will be.

If banks aren’t using the bailout money they were given to create new loans then what are they doing with it? Some are hoarding the cash, while others have been gambling with it in the stock market! If the bailout money is still sitting in the pockets of bankers, and it never went into credit markets, then how can the Fed claim that it stopped the collapse? The fact is, the bailouts have done absolutely nothing except prop up the Dow and give the illusion that things are improving. No amount of spin, though, can change the fundamentals.

Banks across the country continue to shut down at an alarming rate. The FDIC has closed 140 so far this year, and recently announced the closure of two banks in California with assets totaling in excess of $10 Billion!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091219/ap_on_bi_ge/us_bank_closures

Not only this, but the FDIC is in many cases unable to sell off these bankrupt assets to other banks, meaning, they are forced to absorb the entire debt instead of a small piece of it. Any depositors at the RockBridge Commercial Bank with savings of more than $250,000 in their accounts have essentially lost the remainder. Recovery of their savings could take months, and even then they may get only a portion of what they had in their accounts.

What does this mean? It means that the FDIC is having trouble guaranteeing your deposits. Why? Because the FDIC is broke. Before the announcement of the two California banks totaling $10 Billion, the FDIC was officially in the red for $8.2 Billion. The real amount of debt the FDIC has incurred is probably far more than reported.

I have heard it argued that 140 closed banks is not such a terrible number. During the Great Depression, over 3000 banks were shut down. This is another straw man debate point. Yes, thousands of banks were closed during the depression, but there were numerous small private banks and city banks in those days, and their total deposits were miniscule compared to modern corporate banks. It is not the number of banks closed that is important, it is the size of their assets and deposits which makes or breaks the FDIC.

How long can the Treasury go printing money to bailout the FDIC? I suspect not very long.

Housing Is Still In Trouble

The bottom line is, nothing has changed except how we are told to perceive the situation. Changing how one looks at a problem does not make the problem go away, as much as we would like it to. This fact goes for the housing issue as well.

We are told constantly by the MSM that the markets are improving, but if this is so, then why are large banks continuing to go bankrupt due to defaults on home loans? Why is it that mortgage delinquencies continue to rise to record levels every month?

http://realestateinvestordaily.com/market-information-news/mortgage-delinquencies-set-new-record-in-third-quarter/

Even families that received direct help from the U.S. government “foreclosure prevention plan” are behind on their payments!

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE5B41ME20091205

A glut of foreclosed homes are now on the market, but banks are having trouble finding anyone to buy, even at discount price ranges:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20091215/ts_nm/us_usa_housing_foreclosures

In response, the Federal Reserve is executing a plan to pump $1.25 Trillion into mortgage backed securities in order to bring interest rates down to record lows. This is very similar to the policy which they used to cause the housing crash in the first place:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Rates-on-30year-mortgages-set-apf-646421176.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=4&asset=&ccode=

Again, what we are told by the MSM and the government, and what seems to be occurring at the foundations of the economy, are in total opposition. Someone somewhere is lying.

On The Other Side Of The World…

Terrible events can occur while the masses are psychologically unaware or “asleep”, but they can also occur while we are literally asleep too. In a world designed around the concept of Globalization, that which damages the economy of one country, can have drastic effects on another. This was made evident by the recent trouble in Dubai, however, there is much more happening on the other side of the world that we rarely hear about.

Both Greece and Spain are currently in dire straights with mounting and unserviceable debt:

http://moneynews.com/Economy/greece-downgrade-credit-rating/2009/12/16/id/343500

http://www.economist.com/world/europe/displaystory.cfm?story_id=14973182

But these are not the only European countries in danger of default. If one examines debt as a percentage of a country’s GDP, one can see which nations are on the edge of collapse.

Nations with a high debt to GDP ratio have a tendency to default, that is, to go bankrupt. Greece and Italy already have a national debt larger then their entire GDP, which means the revenue of each country for a whole year is not enough to pay off what they owe! This indicates the very real possibility of economic collapse in these countries. Spain, UK, and Germany are all on the edge of the abyss as well.

It is important to note here that America’s debt is now around 75% of our GDP, and is projected to increase to 100% of our GDP by the end of Obama’s first term:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_public_debt

Debt is the major driving force that will trigger collapse, and the U.S. is well on its way to accumulating epic amounts of it.

If any of these countries default on their debt (including the U.S.) the shockwave will send the rest of the globe into financial retreat.

Smoke And Mirrors

It’s nice to maintain a rosy outlook on the economic situation we face. It makes us feel safe. The fact is, though, that we are far from safe, and denying the problem will not make it go away. The MSM’s main drive, at least for now, is to promote a sense of well being. Some of them do it because they believe the markets are driven by psychology and that by creating a positive atmosphere, we can somehow make our troubles disappear through shear force of will. Of course, this is an absurd notion.

Others ignore the facts and spin ideas of recovery deliberately and with malicious intent, because they know comfortable people are not alert, and those that are not alert are easy to surprise, and surprised people are easy to control. The globalist George Soros for instance has lately been denying all signs of collapse, and making claims countries like Greece, Dubai, and the UK, have nothing to worry about:

http://moneynews.com/StreetTalk/Soros-Greece-Dubai-Default/2009/12/14/id/342566

Gee, I know that makes me feel a whole lot better.

What we are witnessing today is perhaps the greatest faux recovery in the history of the world. There is a reason why there is so much conflicting evidence. There is a reason why many economists are confused as to where the economy is going; because some of the evidence is based in fact, while the rest is designed to deceive. Learning and standing by economic fundamentals can help one in discerning what rings true and what does not. The fundamentals cannot be changed, they can only be hidden. Stick with the foundations of the system, ignore the fluff, the fog and shadows media game, and you will never be caught unaware when disaster strikes.

Neithercorp Press - 12/14/2009

The great secret to the “Global Warming Debate,” the underlying current that no one in the mainstream seems willing to discuss openly, is the fact it is not really a debate about the environment; it is actually a catalyst, a symbolic fight over a mountain of social conflicts that have existed for generations. The battle over Global Warming is a mechanism by which our culture is divided into mostly superficial and contrived political and social stances. Republican vs. Democrat, Science vs. Religion, Anti-Corporate vs. Free Market, Hippie vs. Redneck, Vegetarian vs. Carnivore; Global Warming is a great farce comprised of many smaller farces.

The actual scientific debate over the legitimacy of “man-made” Global Warming has for the most part already ended. Man’s influence over the climate is negligible at best, and this has been proven by scientific fundamentals that advocates of the Global Warming theory seem to either ignore completely, or attack blindly and violently without regard for reason. Scientists working with the IPCC have even been caught red handed manipulating source data in order to give the general public the false impression that man-made Global Warming is real.

First, let’s examine the science behind Global Warming, and why the perspective forced by UN supported scientists is false…

The Science Does Not Support The Theory:

First off, let’s be clear… man-made Global Warming is a theory. It is not proven to exist, nor is it likely to be. The MSM treats Anthropogenic Global Warming as a fact of life mathematically proven and socially accepted but this is far from the truth. The idea that man, through “carbon pollution,” is causing the earth to get warmer, is completely unsupported. Let’s look at the facts:

There Is No Consensus On Global Warming:

The claim that there is any kind of consensus among scientists or the general public is laughable. The U.N.’s purported “consensus” comes from a group of 600 scientists across the world, less than one percent of the scientific population, and most of which are not even involved in core research. Some of these scientists are no longer supporting the IPCC’s findings, and some had no idea they were being labeled as supporters in the first place. The rest of them draw all their conclusions from data handed to them by the IPCC and the Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, which we will discuss later.

In 2008, over 31,000 scientists signed a petition in opposition to the IPCC and their findings on Global Warming:

http://www.aim.org/briefing/31000-signatures-prove-no-consensus-about-global-warming/

Even more importantly, over 650 scientists who are former and current members of the IPCC have also spoken out against the Global Warming hoax:

Many of the IPCC’s own people don’t even buy the hype!

According to recent polls, 57% of Americans believe the Earth is actually warming, and only 36% believe that warming is caused by human activity:

http://news.aol.com/article/pew-poll-americans-cooler-on-global/731614

This is a sharp drop from only a couple of years ago. More honest information is now available to the public, and with it, the supposed “consensus” over Global Warming has waned.

The Earth Is Cooling, Not Warming:

Global Warming scientists are well aware that the Earth has been cooling over the past decade at least, which is why they recently changed the term “Global Warming” to “Climate Change” in order to cover their tracks. Data shows that the Earth is currently in a cooling cycle and the polar ice caps have actually been expanding:

If an increase in carbon output by man causes warming, then why is the earth getting cooler? Globalist funded environmental groups like the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have attempted to flank this point by claiming that carbon also causes dramatic cooling trends, quite an interesting switch. It seems CO2 is so insidious that it is capable of causing almost any climate shift at any time:

http://news.smh.com.au/national/big-chill-a-symptom-of-climate-chaos-20080901-46yx.html

The Earth Has Been Warmer In The Past Than It Is Today:

During the Medieval Warming Period, which lasted from 800 A.D. to 1300 A.D., overall Earth temperatures were as warm as or even warmer than they are today, even though the carbon content of the atmosphere was 25% less than it is now. Even the NOAA, an often biased government agency, admits to the existence of the Medieval Warming Period:

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/paleo/globalwarming/medieval.html

Below is the warming trend graph from the NOAA.

The IPCC’s response to this? First, they attempted to shrug off the event as an “anomaly” and claimed it was only limited to Northern Europe, but five centuries of warming without a major carbon increase is a fact that they could not ignore without extensive data proving that the warming period was some kind of “blip” in the overall trend. The source data for this theory has yet to be produced.

Instead of conducting honest experiments open to the public to understand how the Medieval Warming Period occurred, they instead adopted a graph produced by Dr. Michael Mann of the Department of Geosciences, University of Massachusetts. This graph ERASED the existence of the Medieval Warming Period altogether, and is now infamously known as “The Hockey Stick”:

The Hockey Stick Graph is a perfect example of how scientific data can be manipulated to produce any conclusion the scientist wishes given that the public is not allowed to view the exact source data he used to achieve his result. Mann used tree ring samples for assessing past temperatures, then grafted the surface temperature record for the 20th century, ending in 1998, over the tree ring record, to produce the highly dramatic hockey stick effect for his graph.

Below is an interesting email conversation between scientists working with the CRU on the suspicious nature of tree ring data. It was stolen from the CRU database and posted to the web:

http://www.devilskitchen.me.uk/2009/11/cru-emails-interesting-conversation-at.html

The method is absurd for many reasons, and is a blatant rewriting of history. The two data series used; tree rings and surface temperature, have entirely different variables and should never have been grafted together into a single information string.

Regardless of this very serious problem, Mann’s hockey stick graph was adopted as undeniable fact in the IPCC’s Third Assessment Report. The Global Warming community accepted the graph without question, and didn’t even bother to critique the source data. You can read more about the numerous failings of the Hockey Stick theory here:

http://www.john-daly.com/hockey/hockey.htm

The Medieval Warming Period shows that the Earth warms in cycles, indicating that carbon is not a major factor in global temperature fluctuations, and thus, neither are human beings.

Warming And Cooling Trends Are Caused By The Sun, Not CO2:

Numerous scientists across the globe have found a direct relationship between solar flare activity and radiance to the fluctuations in the Earth’s temperature:

http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2008/06/army-vs-global/

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/copenhagen-climate-change-confe/6762640/Copenhagen-climate-summit-global-warming-caused-by-suns-radiation.html

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-440049/Greenhouse-effect-myth-say-scientists.html

The IPCC has attempted to derail the findings of these scientists with a very clever trick; Solar activity has been slowly waning they say, since at least the 1970’s, so then why is the Earth still getting warmer instead of cooler?

It’s a straw-man argument based on the same old assumption; the assumption that the Earth is, in fact, getting warmer and their data is viable. Science is not supposed to draw conclusions based on assumptions, and neither should the general public when it comes to Global Warming.

If the IPCC’s data is correct, and the Earth is in fact on a massive warming trend due to carbon, then why have other scientists recently measured a cooling trend? If CO2 is responsible for warming and cooling, then why do the ice caps on Mars melt and refreeze in tandem with the Earth’s?

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/02/070228-mars-warming.html

http://www.livescience.com/environment/070312_solarsys_warming.html

Interestingly, Mars and Earth ice caps seem to melt and refreeze as solar flare activity increases and decreases.

The Global Warming Scientists’ response to the Mars issue? “Ice cap melt on mars is caused by dust clouds.”

They give little to no explanation as to how it is possible that many planets, such as Pluto, Mars, and the Earth, somehow all warm and cool at the same time. Such a coincidence occurring is statistically astronomical! Any normal scientist would question whether or not there is a common factor in this equation (the sun), but not those that work for the IPCC. Their drive to ignore all other evidence in favor of the anthropogenic theory is uncanny.

Carbon mass is very low in Mars’ thin atmosphere and its effects are negligible. Carbon is also not a major component of the Earth’s atmosphere. CO2 comprises only about 0.28% of all Greenhouse Gases. 95% of greenhouse gases are pure water vapor! The IPCC has attempted to ignore the fact that water vapor has a far greater effect on the warmth of the Earth than CO2, but the numbers speak for themselves:

http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html

Human activities contribute slightly to greenhouse gas concentrations through farming, manufacturing, power generation, and transportation. However, these emissions are so dwarfed in comparison to emissions from natural sources we can do nothing about, that even the most costly efforts to limit human emissions would have a very small– perhaps undetectable– effect on global climate.

Conclusion: man’s carbon “footprint” is minimal, so much so that he could barely begin to imagine warping a climate already driven by the overpowering forces of nature and the sun.

All of this information and more is laid out in the excellent documentary film “The Man-Made Global Warming Hoax.” You can watch it in its entirety here:

http://neithercorp.us/media

Global Warming scientists continue to state that there is no validity whatsoever to these arguments, but wait a minute… what evidence does the IPCC have that makes them so sure of themselves?

Without Source Data, Climate Research Is Meaningless

All Global Warming advocates draw their information from the same very small pool of sources. Only three groups produce the main body of this data; the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU), the NOAA, and NASA. These three groups also tend to draw on and share each others data to produce conclusions on climate change theory, which the IPCC then adopts as fact. Only a handful of scientists therefore determine what you see and hear when it comes to scientific study on Global Warming, thus, only a handful of scientists determine the mainstream “truth” of global warming.

This would not be so terrible if those same scientists made their source data available for public scrutiny and review by other scientists. However, all three organizations have avoided releasing any source data to the public. NASA and the CRU especially, have done everything in their power to deny FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests, and refuse to disclose how their scientific results are achieved.

What this means is, the CRU conducts experiments to determine if anthropogenic Global Warming exists, then, they release the results of those experiments without showing how they came to their conclusions (something that my high school Trigonometry teacher would never let me get away with). Thus, no one outside the CRU can check to see if their conclusions are correct. Essentially, the CRU expects you to have faith that they are telling you the truth. This is NOT how science works.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/dec/03/researcher-says-nasa-hiding-climate-data//print/

http://camirror.wordpress.com/2009/11/21/test/

If the CRU claims they have a rainbow-colored crocodile in their Jacuzzi, do you take their word for it as an infallible natural fact, or do you ask to see the scaly beast?

Without the source data for their experiments, nothing climate scientists say about global warming is viable, or even relevant. Without the source data, all conclusions are simply CRU opinions, and why would we care at all to hear that nonsense? Show me the source data!

But where is the source data? Apparently, NASA refuses to reveal it, while the CRU claims they “accidentally” threw it all away!

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/08/13/cru_missing/

Scientists at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based. It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6936328.ece

So, what this means is, all climate legislation, all carbon taxes, all greenhouse emissions limits, all of it, will be based on conclusions by a small group of scientists who threw away all the data they say proves the existence of Global Warming. How is this possible? The answers have been revealed by the Climate-Gate emails.

Climate-Gate; CRU Fraud Exposed

Last month, hackers (now suspected to be inside whistle-blowers) stole and posted onto the internet thousands of emails and other documents from the CRU of East Anglia. You can download all of these documents here:

http://neithercorp.us/documents/FOI2009.zip

And, you can see an extensive list of choice quotes taken from the emails here:

http://www.devilskitchen.me.uk/2009/11/some-cru-email-summaries-4.html

CRU scientists, including Climate Research Director, Phil Jones, have admitted these documents are legitimate. *Note: Phil Jones was recently forced to step down as the director of the CRU because of these emails.*

Here are some choice quotations from the personal emails of CRU scientists on FOIA requests and deliberate data deletion:

Mike, … Just sent loads of station data to Scott. Make sure he documents everything better this time ! And don’t leave stuff lying around on ftp sites – you never know who is trawling them. The two [climate skeptics] MMs have been after the CRU station data for years. If they ever hear there is a Freedom of Information Act now in the UK, I think I’ll delete the file rather than send to anyone. Does your similar act in the US force you to respond to enquiries within 20 days? – our does ! The UK works on precedents, so the first request will test it.We also have a data protection act, which I will hide behind. Tom Wigley has sent me a worried email when he heard about it – thought people could ask him for his model code. He has retired officially from UEA so he can hide behind that. IPR should be relevant here, but I can see me getting into an argument with someone at UEA who’ll say we must adhere to it !

…

Phil

Mike,

Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise. He’s not in at the moment – minor family crisis.

Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar to do likewise.

…

Cheers
Phil

Mike, Ray, Caspar,
A couple of things – don’t pass on either.

…

2. You can delete this attachment if you want. Keep this quiet also, but this is the person [DAVID HOLLAND – Willis] who is putting in FOI requests for all emails Keith and Tim have written and received re Ch 6 of AR4. We think we’ve found a way around this.

Subject: Re: WMO non respondo … Even if WMO agrees, I will still not pass on the data. We have 25 or so years invested in the work. Why should I make the data available to you, when your aim is to try and find something wrong with it.… Cheers Phil

“PS I’m getting hassled by a couple of people to release the CRU station temperature data. Don’t any of you three tell anybody that the UK has a Freedom of Information Act!”

If he [Steven McIntyre] pays 10 pounds (which he hasn’t yet) I am supposed to go through my emails and he can get anything I’ve written about him. About 2 months ago I deleted loads of emails, so have very little – if anything at all.

Thomas R Karl

I will continue to refuse such data requests in the future. Nor will I provide McIntyre with computer programs, email correspondence, etc. I fee very strongly about these issues.

Here’s a question: why are Phil Jones and other climate scientists so afraid to release their source data? So much so that they would rather destroy it than let other people read it! What are they so frightened of? What would people discover if they were to see the data? If a scientist is so completely sure of his conclusions, why should he be worried about other scientists and the public reviewing how he came to those conclusions? Why isn’t the Media asking these questions, instead of trying to downplay the importance of Climate-Gate? Clearly, the CRU is desperately trying to hide something.

Even more disturbing is the computer model source code found in the Climate-Gate emails, which reveal blatant attempts by CRU scientists to manipulate and falsify data in order to show Global Warming is occurring regardless of what the original data truly says:

The MSM and most Global Warming proponents have completely avoided an in-depth discussion on the CRU’s climate model source code which shows clear manipulation.

A very common argument I hear from climate scientists and others is that regardless of Climate Gate, the “overwhelming data” shows that Global Warming is real and human beings are the cause. Here’s a quote from Francesca Grifo, senior scientist and director of the Scientific Integrity Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS):

We expect a high degree of scientific integrity by scientists, whether they be in university labs or federal offices. But what may or may not have happened does not change the science - ice sheets are melting, sea level is rising and the top ten hottest years since 1880 include 2001 through 2008.

What Francesca seems to be ignoring is the fact that ALL her conclusions on ice sheets, sea levels, and temperatures, are primarily taken from the information released by the CRU! Climate Gate shows that CRU documentation is highly questionable, not to mention the fact that they deliberately throw out their source data so no one can see it! Does Francesca Grifo or anyone else have information on Global Warming that is backed by legitimate source data? The answer is obviously no, so, how can they so easily disregard Climate-Gate?

The CRU has been caught with their pants down, but some environmentalists and climate scientists seem completely un-phased. How is it that they could be confronted with such overwhelming evidence of fraud yet still roll on as if nothing they think is true could possibly be in question? Let us, for a moment, peer into the mind of a Global Warming “believer”…

Global Warming As Religion

Every human being in the world wants to feel a connection to something greater, to a higher calling. For some, this feeling is fulfilled by religion, for others, it is fulfilled by an opposition to religion. Some people become ensconced in politics, believing they can make a difference through government, while others (like myself) write their insights down for the public to read in the hope that we can somehow bring clarity where there was little before. Environmentalism also provides an outlet for this very deep and gripping desire to “crusade” for a better future, or a wiser species. Environmentalism is far more than just a fight for the protection of ecosystems and air purity; it is an elaborate methodology with its own ceremonies, taboos, and dogma. Environmentalism is a life path, not just a social concern.

Nothing influences this adaptation of environmentalism as a spiritual system more than the Global Warming issue. Global Warming completes the environmentalist religion by concluding the narrative with their own “Doomsday” scenario. Much like the Christian idea of “Armageddon” and the “Rapture,” Global Warming provides environmentalists with a philosophy of “total catastrophe,” a wrath of god scenario without including a god in the mix.

End-time mythologies also tap into man’s collectivist tendencies, making us feel as if the individual must be sacrificed to make the group stronger. “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few…” We must “become one if we are to divert this horrible fate and save the planet,” etc. However, “groups” rarely achieve anything of promise. It is always those who strive for individuality and freedom from the confines of the group mentality that produce ideas and imaginings that stun the world and progress the whole towards greater understanding. Collectivity has its place, but not at the expense of individualism, only as an underlying component, creating a “Collective of Individuals.” By sacrificing our free spirit for the sake of some imaginary “greater good,” we only sabotage the rest of humanity.

In the mind of a Global Warming believer, they are on a sacred mission, part of a pure accordance to defend the integrity of the Earth itself. They are on a holy war. Whether or not this war is just or even meaningful is immaterial to them. They have unquestioning faith, and they refuse to be swayed.

Of course, faith in one’s self, one’s conscience, and one’s heart, can bring about great and powerful change. But faith in the CRU? That is just laziness and stupidity. Climate scientists are not priests, and they aren’t Gods. Their word is not their bond. They should be required to support their statements and conclusions with verifiable facts and transparent source data, which they have not done.

What many environmentalists must understand is that there are numerous planetary issues that need and deserve sincere attention. There are real environmental problems in the world, Global Warming just isn’t one of them. Adopting the environmentalist life path does not necessarily mean you must accept all of its tenets without question. Far more important than any belief system, any political cause, or any personal desire, is the pursuit of the truth. The truth, no matter where it leads us, takes precedence over all things. It is our greatest gift to have the ability to search out the truth, as well as our most painful task. This mission requires us to question everything, always, until honest discernment can be found. The Global Warming issue is no exception.

One thing I have learned in my work with the Liberty Movement over the years, a fact which I will never again take for granted, is that the world can turn on a dime, without warning, or pity. We often expect that these drastic changes will be for the worse, but now I realize that this is not always so. A dramatic turn towards good, a turn towards truth, is just as possible as any other, as long as we endeavor to make it so.

Not long ago, only a couple years back, the idea of finally achieving a full audit of the privately controlled Federal Reserve was thought by many to be a naïve fantasy. The Fed was a massive internationally coordinated entity with unlimited resources (they print their own capital from thin air), how could we possibly compete with the political clout or the tremendous media sway they held at their fingertips? The masses had absolutely no inkling of what the Fed was let alone why they should care about its stranglehold on U.S. politics or financial mechanics. We were screaming at the proverbial “brick wall.” An economic collapse was imminent, and all we could do was wait.

Proponents of the Fed scoured internet chat boards and forums arguing that the Central Bank was part of the Government, that it was public, that it was audited yearly. The bigger the lie, the more effective it was in distracting people from the obvious and documented facts. But again, the world can turn on a dime…

The Federal Reserve Exposed!

It took a deflationary meltdown in credit and housing markets to finally inspire the average American to take an interest in the Fed, but the necessary curiosity and the subsequent and understandable rage over the so far unaccountable financial monstrosity has now taken hold.

The destructive interest rate policies that caused the Housing bubble and the derivatives bubble have now been exposed. The Fed kept interest rates in housing markets artificially low during the 90’s, primarily because the U.S. economy was already showing signs of deflation due to the continuous devaluation of the U.S. Dollar since 1913 and the exportation of America’s manufacturing base. Central Bankers stepped in, and the cheap money which followed created the so called “sub-prime” mortgage boom, which prolonged the effects of a collapse through easy credit, but also lured millions of people into crushing debt.

As sub-prime mortgages timed out and their low introductory rates expired, American homeowners suckered by the rain of cheap loans were suddenly confronted with payments they could not possibly afford. Many of these sub-prime mortgage rates expired, strangely, in a very short span of time, which then led to massive and simultaneous bankruptcies, the bubble collapse, and the panic in derivatives markets, which are invested heavily in debt based securities.

What people must realize is that the economic meltdown we are witnessing today is not a sudden and unpredictable event, but an easily foreseeable chain reaction that took decades to coalesce. Numerous people, including men like Ron Paul and Peter Schiff, predicted the collapse years in advance:

Instead of investigating the Federal Reserve and its role in the collapse with a full audit, the government instead opened the door for the Central Bank to create an even larger and more devastating bubble in the Dollar by passing the Banker Bailout Bills.

The validity of the banker bailouts (which the vast majority of Americans did not want) have now been consistently challenged in the House. The arbitrary $700 Billion number given to Americans when the bailouts were being organized has been revealed as fraudulent. The Fed is completely unrestrained and able to print fiat capital at will. The real estimate for the size of the Banker Bailouts comes to around $24 Trillion!

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aY0tX8UysIaM

When confronted by lawmakers on this issue, the Fed has even refused to tell Congress or the American people where their tax dollars have been spent:

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=apx7XNLnZZlc

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/08/the-end-of-bailout-transp_n_156472.html

This act alone warrants heavy handed scrutiny of the Fed. But how is it possible that the Fed can take and spend taxpayer money without any oversight? For decades the Fed has argued that they are a “part of the government”, but their recent actions bring the truth to the surface. The Fed is in fact not public, but a private entity not subject to FOIA requests or Congressional oversight (Congress has the right to pursue a full audit of the Fed, but this right has not been exercised until now). This is the ONLY reason why they can refuse to tell Congress where our money has gone. Finally, Alan Greenspan himself was forced to admit that the Fed is “independent” (private), and answers to no one:

Today, the Fed along with spokesman/PR-man Ben Bernanke are desperately trying to maintain damage control on the Central Bank’s public image. Ron Paul’s HR.1207 has been hugely successful and a vote on the bill appears to be unstoppable. The bill presents Fed officials with their most dreaded of all scenarios: an audit!

But why do Central Bankers need to be dragged kicking and screaming into an audit? What are they so afraid of? First, let’s examine some of the Fed’s primary arguments against an audit, and why all of them are absurd…

The Fed’s Arguments Against Audit

False Argument #1: The Fed must remain independent or it will come under political pressure and will not be able to do its job.

This argument is summed up quite well in the following quote from Anil Kashyup, an economist for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve:

“Economic theory and massive amounts of empirical evidence make a strong case for maintaining the Fed’s independence. When central banks are subjected to political pressure, authorities often pursue excessively expansionary monetary policy in order to lower unemployment in the short run. This produces higher inflation and higher interest rates without lowering unemployment in the long term. This has happened over and over again in the past, not only in the United States but in many other countries throughout the world.

The Fed’s independence is critical to its credibility. During the financial crisis, this credibility allowed the Fed to take extraordinary action to prevent a possible depression without triggering inflation. But eventually the Fed will have to scale back its unprecedented monetary accommodation. When it does move to tighten monetary conditions, it must be allowed to do so without political interference.”

I find this argument fascinatingly ironic for a couple of reasons. First, Anil makes no reference to what “empirical evidence” he is referring to. At what point has the Fed ever been subjected to “political pressure” which resulted in inflation it did not want, and who then studied and compiled data on this event that no one has ever heard of? It would certainly be sporting of Mr. Kashyup to at least cite where he is getting this evidence from.

Second, why is an audit of the Fed being equated with “political pressure”? An audit of the private Central Bank does not necessarily lead to political influences. It is a compiling of accounts. It is an examination of how much of our money the Fed has spent and where they spent it. It is not about telling the Fed how it should form and enact its policies. Mr. Kashyup’s argument is erroneous because there is no connection at all between examining the Fed’s accounts and controlling how the Fed operates… unless, of course, the Fed has been lying about its accounts, or has been involved in criminal activities. In that event, political pressure is not only warranted, but necessary to protect the interests of the American people.

Another point to consider: the Federal Reserve may be “independent” of the political motivations of Congress, but is it independent of the political motivations of the globalist bankers who run it? If it is not, then it would certainly be better for the Fed to be controlled by a Congress with an “agenda” who answer to the public, instead of a consortium of rich elites with an agenda who answer to no one.

Third, Kashyup presents these supposed consequences of an audit like some phantasmal bogey man, but the fact is, every item he warns about is already being caused by the Fed without any political pressure at all. The Fed on its own recognizance has inflated the money supply so much so that it deliberately stopped reporting its M3 measurement, which records among other things how many U.S. Dollars are held by foreign banks and the true level of inflation in the money supply:

http://www.federalreserve.gov/Releases/h6/discm3.htm

The Fed has created this inflation while doing nothing to substantially stop unemployment levels from rising to between 17% and 18% (counting U-6 measurements). The Fed has attempted to claim that the recent decline in job losses is due to their bailout efforts along with the lowering of interest rates to near zero. However, it has been revealed that most of the fiat money printed out of thin air and flooded into large banks was not spent on balancing credit markets so that Americans could get loans, nor was it spent to create new jobs. In fact, banks that received trillions of dollars in taxpayer funds have either hoarded the cash, or bet it on stocks, propping up the Dow and creating an illusory “recovery” in the markets:

http://blogs.wsj.com/deals/2009/09/29/volcker-to-banks-stop-trading-with-taxpayer-money/

http://www.forbes.com/2009/02/03/banking-federal-reserve-business-wall-street-0203_loans.html

Money sitting idle in the coffers of corporate banking entities is not going to help create jobs, nor is printing money out of thin air a solid foundation for stopping job loss. It is much more likely that unemployment has leveled off on its own, until the next bubble collapse, and the next wave of layoffs.

So, all the terrible things Mr. Kashyup warns will happen if we audit the Fed are already happening. Yet, he still claims the current relationship between the Fed and the American people is fine the way it is?

A private group of bankers controlling the money supply of an entire country without accountability or transparency? Is this “reasonable” under any circumstance? I think not…..

False Argument #2: If the Fed were audited, it would ruin the economy’s chance at “recovery”, and the collapse would spiral out of control.

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said on Friday congressional proposals to audit the Fed and strip it of regulatory powers as part of post-crisis reforms could damage prospects for economic and financial health in the future.

“These measures are very much out of step with the global consensus on the appropriate role of central banks, and they would seriously impair the prospects for economic and financial stability in the United States,” Bernanke wrote in a column posted on the Washington Post’s website.

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE5AR03X20091128

This appears to be more scare mongering, reminiscent of the threats the Fed made when American’s opposed the Banker Bailouts, however, in this case, the threat is probably real, and in a sense, comical. Why? Because in making this statement, Bernanke is basically admitting that if the Fed is audited, we will find something terrible, and when we do, all hell will break loose.

This argument is made to look as though it is based on financial concerns, but it is really a philosophical debate.

Should American’s be allowed to know the whole truth of their economic situation, thereby opening the door to anger and civil unrest? Or, should they go on believing naively that tomorrow will be exactly the same as today, and that all is well?

The fact that Bernanke fears an audit plainly spells out the reality that all is not well. If the Fed’s operations were sound and the economy is on a legitimate track towards recovery, then Bernanke should have nothing to fear from an audit. However, he states openly that he has much to fear, and so apparently do we.

The truth is its own reason, its own purpose. It drives forward with or without us. We can either embrace it, or neglect it, and eventually be destroyed by our lack of knowledge.

Will an audit of the Federal Reserve cause negative effects in the markets? Absolutely! If we find that even half of what we suspect about the Fed’s balance sheet is true, then the effects on the health of the economy and most especially the Dollar will be nightmarish. There is no mistake. The problem is, such events are going to occur regardless of a Fed audit, just over a greater period of time.

So, is it better to experience a collapse knowing exactly who is responsible and why? Or, is it better to experience a collapse in total ignorance of the facts?

The so called recovery is a sham, as we have covered and outlined in numerous articles:

http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=199

http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=167

http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=105

Bernanke is simply stalling the inevitable fall of the Dollar bubble, just as Greenspan stalled the inevitable fall of the housing bubble. The sooner a collapse occurs, the less time it will take to sort out and restructure the economy. The longer these events are delayed, the bigger the bubble becomes, and the more catastrophic the breakdown will be when it finally happens. But perhaps, this is what the Fed has wanted all along…

False Argument #3: The Federal Reserve is necessary.

The Fed was founded in 1913 under dubious and subversive circumstances. Its purpose has been to centralize financial control of the U.S. into the hands of a small group of men. During its existence, we have suffered the Great Depression, many recessions, and now the “Great Recession” which will probably turn out to be the worst depression in the history of the world. The Dollar has been removed entirely from the gold standard which once gave our currency strength and stability. Subsequently, the Fed has been able to inflate our currency into oblivion. For instance, in 1913, if you bought an item for $20, that same item would now cost you $436. That is a rate of inflation of over 2000%!

http://www.coinnews.net/tools/cpi-inflation-calculator/

The rate of inflation has only increased exponentially for every year that passes, and this does not even take into account the trillions of dollars now flooding into our economic system due to the recent bailouts. If this trend continues, the Dollar, the reserve currency of the world, will devalue to the point that no country will want to invest in it, or trade in it. This would not mean total failure by itself if other countries also inflated their currencies, but very few countries in history have ever printed fiat money at the level we are now while at the same time amassing a projected $9.2 Trillion national deficit. This combination of circumstances, all facilitated by the Fed, will cause the international dumping of T-Bonds, the collapse of the dollar, and thus, the default of the U.S. Treasury, which now relies on foreign credit just to keep our government, our military, and all other public services running.

If the Fed was designed to somehow protect the stability of the American economy as Central Bankers assert, it has so far failed miserably.

Before the formation of the Fed, it was the Treasury itself that coined money and determined interest rates. The Treasury is an actual part of the government, and is therefore accountable to the people, unlike the Federal Reserve. Most of America’s greatest economic achievements were made during the time before the Fed was founded. We lived, worked, and progressed as a society, all without a permanent private Central Bank.

So, is the Fed really necessary? The truth is we are much better off without it.

Demand An Audit Of The Fed

The House Financial Services Committee recently voted 41-28 to approve the amendments presented by Ron Paul to audit the Fed. Paul’s bill is now ready for a full House Vote:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/12/02/politics/main5862704.shtml

The Fed is clamoring to stop the vote and frighten the public with threats of economic doom. Unfortunately for the Fed, and according to recent polls, 79% of Americans want the Central Bank audited:

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/business/general_business/november_2009/79_now_favor_auditing_the_fed

This kind of consensus cannot be ignored, if only because to do so would create a groundswell of anger financial elites could not control.

The Fed directly determines the course of the economy, and so far it seems only for ill. In turn, this affects the livelihood of every citizen in this country. As long as America is a Democratic Republic, we the people have the right to know what they are doing and why at all times. Ironically, the Fed is attempting to appeal to the American sense of individual sovereignty (which they are attempting to destroy), but Governments and corporate institutions like Central Banks have no right to privacy when they are given the power to possibly disrupt the destinies of millions. The Fed’s concerns over their “independence” are ultimately irrelevant. They are secondary to the concerns of the American people, and the people have loudly and clearly spoken; it is time to know the truth. The gains far outweigh the costs. One way or another, the Fed will answer to us.

“There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.”

John Maynard Keynes

For the past couple years we have been covering every nuance of the economic collapse and in almost every instance we have come to the conclusion that 2010 would be the year that the U.S. would see an incredible downturn, possibly resulting in the inflationary disintegration of the Dollar, and a major stock market revolt which would destroy any remaining illusion Americans still have that a recovery is in progress:

http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=74

http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=167

We are now on the edge of winter 2009, and recent events across the globe indicate more and more that our predictions for 2010 were correct. Let’s examine some of those events and their implications now…

Dubai: Why Should We Care?

Only a year ago, Dubai was the jewel of the Middle East. A financial Mecca centered in the midst of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai has been nicknamed the “Global City,” not necessarily because its population is “globally conscious,” but because without investment from numerous foreign nations, Dubai would not exist.

Dubai is often mistaken as an oil rich nation, but the fact is, only 6% of Dubai’s GDP is supported by oil revenue. The vast remaining portion of Dubai’s economy operates completely on money from the U.S., China, Europe, and other foreign interests.

Since the “Great Recession” began in 2007, rumors of a systematic financial collapse in Dubai have circulated, along with reports of frozen investment, and even abandoned Real Estate projects that have left the country looking like a ghost town. In the past week, those rumors have been officially confirmed:

http://www.reuters.com/article/globalMarketsNews/idUSTRE5AN54C20091126?pageNumber=1&virtualBrandChannel=0

Essentially, Dubai is bankrupt, and this news has sent a shockwave through markets around the world. But why? Why would Dubai’s bankruptcy affect U.S. markets?

The first thing that we must understand is that this is the result of living in a “globalized” economy. Instead of having sovereign and self sufficient financial systems that act as checks to total world collapse, we now have “interdependent” economies connected like a chain of dominoes. All it takes is for one to tip over, and the others follow suit.

If a once explosive economy like that of Dubai’s is now on the edge of insolvency, this means Western companies are incredibly weak and unable to invest any longer. Dubai’s collapse indicates that the capital that once flowed from rich nations like the U.S. has dried up. The world is reeling, and perhaps even broke. Dubai is the canary in the coal mine, and the canary has just dropped dead. The signal is clear; the astounding resurgence of world markets is an illusion built on nothing but fantasy and fiat money printed out of thin air and used to prop up the Dow. Dubai has kicked off the coming avalanche, but there is more…

Chinese Banks Frantically Try To Raise Capital?

A recent event that has gone almost completely ignored by MSM economists was the announcement that Chinese banks are now under government pressure to shore up their finances, and are set to unleash a wave of billions of dollars in capital raising that could strain equity markets. The Chinese government seems to be very concerned about the financial cushion available to the country’s banks:

http://www.reuters.com/article/ousiv/idUSTRE5AN4XD20091124?pageNumber=2&virtualBrandChannel=11617

Over the next year or more, Chinese financial institutions will be pulling billions of Yuan out of various investments, selling stocks and bonds in order to raise a massive amount of capital, but for what?

The move appears quite sudden, as if the push for capital is meant as a hedge for a possible panic event, much like an inside trader selling off his shares in a company because he knows it is about to go bust. Either these banks are much weaker than the Chinese government has let on in its economic reports, or, they are expecting a severe downturn in the markets, which would explain why they need billions of Yuan as a parachute. Either way, as soon as the Chinese begin pulling capital out of U.S. markets (in which they are heavily invested) we can expect to see the DOW falter drastically.

The shoring up of billions of Yuan could also indicate that the Chinese are preparing to dump more U.S. treasuries, as they did a couple of months ago:

http://blogs.reuters.com/great-debate/2009/08/20/china-cuts-treasury-holding-to-fund-foreign-deals/

The dollar has been dropping steadily and hard, and eventually, China and other nations with large dollar holdings will attempt to move out of U.S. treasuries. A 300 billion Yuan capital pool may be intended as a hedge to protect against a U.S. dollar collapse, allowing China to eventually dump their T-bonds without completely destroying their own savings in the process.

We also reported recently on China’s move to bring the ASEAN economic block to fruition, along with the announcement that ASEAN and all countries involved may take on the Yuan as their “reserve currency:”

http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=179

This new trade agreement along with an internationally traded Yuan would put China in a prime position to drop its reliance on the U.S. and the Dollar. All signs indicate a move toward separation from the traditional economic agreement between China and the U.S. will occur in 2010.

Trouble Brewing In Japan

The MSM has been relatively quiet on Japan’s current financial condition, perhaps because its condition is growing increasingly worse, and this reflects poorly on the condition of the U.S. Dollar.

Japan is another Asian country that once relied heavily of American consumption as a support mechanism for its economy. This mechanism has survived due to the Yen’s relative weakness to the Greenback, allowing for a profitable trade deficit in Japan’s favor. However, Japanese exports have taken a tremendous hit due to the Dollar’s steady decline, falling between 20% and 30% every month for the past year:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/20/business/worldbusiness/20iht-20yen.17980660.html?_r=1

This major decline in exports (Japan’s bread and butter) has caused a deflationary trend in Japanese markets, as well as sending the middle class there into a mode of savings and self protection. Japanese companies have attempted to stall job-loss in the country by cutting the pay of their employees, instead of issuing pink slips. This has resulted however in many families being “equally” on the edge of poverty:

http://www.japantoday.com/category/lifestyle/view/consumers-retailers-fend-for-themselves-amid-deflation

In August 2009, elections placed the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) in power, a regime change that has not occurred since 1955. The new Prime Minister of Japan, Yukio Hatoyama, has announced publicly and often that he would like Japan to break from its reliance on the American economy and form more tightly with the ASEAN trading bloc:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/21587303/My-Political-Phylosophy-Essay-of-Yukio-Hatoyama

For now, Hatoyama feels that this move would take some time, and that America’s economic dominance will be weakened but sustained. However, if Japan’s deflationary spiral continues at its current pace due to a weak dollar, a dollar being slowly destroyed by the private Federal Reserve, he may change his mind about a timetable for joining ASEAN and breaking from the U.S.

Japan holds a substantial amount of U.S Treasury debt, meaning just like in the case of China, if these treasuries are dumped, our currency will implode.

Gold Buying Bonanza By Foreign Central Banks

We have reported for a long time on China’s quiet gold buying habits which have increased its reserves by 75% or more since 2003:

http://www.financialpost.com/news-sectors/story.html?id=1530063

These reserves have probably been expanded much more in the past few months, and China has indicated a desire to increase its gold holdings from 1600 tons to 6000 tons in the next few years!

http://finance.yahoo.com/tech-ticker/article/382000/Rosenberg-Gold-Going-to-2600-Thanks-to-China?tickers=GLD,GDX,%5EHUI,ABX,NEM,GOLD,FCX

But even bigger news is the announcement that India has bought 200 tons of gold from the IMF and may buy 200 more:

http://wallstreetpit.com/12452-india-potentially-considering-buying-the-other-half-of-the-imfs-400-tons-of-gold-gld-for-sale

The IMF originally offered up the 400 ton gold sale in the midst of one of the biggest gold rallies in recent history, obviously as an attempt to flood the market and manipulate the price down. The attempt failed, and gold has surged to nearly $1200 an ounce in the past couple months.

Russia has also been stocking gold, buying 15.6 tons in October and bringing their reserves to approximately 606 tons. Not only this, but Russia has also announced its intentions to diversify into other national currencies and away from the dollar. Even the Chinese Yuan may be included in Russia’s forex:

http://in.reuters.com/article/fundsNews/idINGEE5AM1A020091123

http://english.people.com.cn/90001/90778/90859/6792509.html

Numerous nations are obviously moving to protect themselves. Right now, gold is the only currency alternative to the dollar that is accepted everywhere (until the SDR gets rolling). Gold buying indicates that these countries fully expect market turmoil and dollar weakness to continue and perhaps escalate.

Bad Signs On The Homefront

The situation in American employment, credit, currency, and real estate has only become worse since the federal stimulus plan was instituted. “Official” unemployment has soared to 10.2% while REAL unemployment according to the U-6 measurement is around 18%.

Real Estate continues to be incredibly weak, and mortgage payment delinquencies and bankruptcy have grown unabated:

http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2009/11/mortgage_delinquencies.html

Over 125 banks across the country have been closed in 2009. You can see the FDIC’s closed bank list here:

http://www.fdic.gov/bank/individual/failed/banklist.html

The FDIC has announced that it has officially run out of funds, and is now in the red for $8.2 billion (that they admit to, the real amount could be much more). The FDIC is now pulling funds directly from the Treasury to cover future bank losses. This puts even more of a strain on the already crumbling dollar:

http://investment-blog.net/alert-fdic-is-broke-82b/

American’s buying habits are perhaps the biggest indicator that something is very wrong. Polls indicate the 93% of U.S. consumers will most likely spend much less this Christmas season then they did the last, and many of them will not be using credit cards:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_ap_poll_stressing_over_debt

The U.S. economy has been fueled by easy credit for decades. The fact that Americans have dumped credit in favor of cash means they will be spending FAR less this holiday season than any MSM economist wants to admit to. I believe the seasonal retail numbers for 2009 will be startling to many who are not aware of the true condition of the economy, and who have blindly believed the Federal Reserve’s announcements that the recession is “over.”

We have predicted for at least the past two years that the primary collapse of the U.S. economy would occur in 2010. We stand by that prediction. Our hopes remain that this prediction will be proven incorrect, and that all will be well, however we have no illusions according to the current data that this will be so. Neither Corporation encourages all of our readers to examine the conditions and information for themselves, and we request that all those who find our conclusions to be correct should make preparations to protect your savings and the well being of your families.

A climactic economic event is on the horizon, and the train is already in motion. We may not be able stop the event from taking shape, but together we can determine its outcome. All those who value truth, liberty, and an honorable society, should be ready not only to save themselves, but to save each other, and to save their country. The time for readiness grows short.
